Prices
Each in the currency that store quoted — not converted: the gap between two rows is the publisher's pricing, not an exchange rate.
Availability
We put this game to every storefront we collect. A market that answered not sold has told us something about the game; a market we never asked has not, and the two are never drawn the same.
Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.

14 of 15 markets; the rest we haven't asked for this title, not markets where it is unavailable.
14 on sale1 answered “not sold”0 we did not ask
The 1 “not sold” market is read from the Steam price pass of Sep 8: that day the store answered for this game elsewhere and gave no price there. The 14 priced markets are the same rows as the table above — each the latest price we hold, dated here when it is older than that pass. The 0 marked “not asked” were not put to this store at all — either it has no storefront there or we do not collect it yet, and neither is a statement about the game. A refusal is a refusal on one day; a store can list a title again tomorrow.

For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 22 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 9 places towards #1, and the 2,513 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

A well-designed game with a deep, engaging story. 有剧情深度的,设计优秀的游戏评测

хорошая игра, бодрый темп
#10 I really thought I'd escaped this industry. But apparently my engineering qualifications remained on file. My return-to-work program began in a psychiatric facility on Titan Station, where management had developed an innovative approach to treating occupational trauma: Expose the patient to more of the thing that caused it. Excellent. I woke up restrained, confused, mentally unstable, and approximately thirty seconds away from another biological catastrophe. Welcome back, Isaac. At least this time I knew the drill. Find something resembling a weapon. Aim for the limbs. Distrust ventilation. Request substantial hazard pay. The work felt familiar, although my previous employer had clearly benefited from some modernization since I'd last worked in this particular industry. Everything felt slightly older and less polished around the edges, but once I'd reacquainted myself with company procedures, I settled in surprisingly quickly. It also helped that I was no longer expected to suffer in complete isolation. I actually got to talk to people this time. Real people. Some of them even survived long enough to have conversations. Progress. Ellie in particular became the kind of coworker you desperately want during a corporate apocalypse: competent, independent and refreshingly uninterested in pretending everything was fine. Stross was considerably less reliable, but I couldn't bring myself to blame him. I've experienced enough Marker-related occupational stress to recognize what happens when someone's mind finally submits its resignation before the rest of them does. Upper management, meanwhile, remained unimpressive. Tiedemann spent most of the contract behaving less like an intimidating executive and more like an administrative inconvenience with access to security systems. Daina wasn't much better. I've dealt with homicidal artificial intelligence, deranged cultists and genetically modified executives. You're going to have to bring more than vague threats and questionable motives to make my list of memorable supervisors. The Unitologists certainly tried. My official assessment of their organization remains: Lunatic, sadistic cult. I will not be attending the Christmas party. The Sprawl itself was... fine. Functional. Large. Certainly varied. But it never developed quite the personality of the Ishimura. There were apartments, public areas, industrial facilities and enough signs of ordinary civilian life to remind me that this hadn't always been a disaster zone. Some of the residential planning did raise questions. I entered one apartment where the toilet was located directly beside the kitchen. No partition. No separate room. Nothing. I've walked through corridors decorated with human entrails and somehow *that* was the moment I questioned whether civilization deserved saving. Then I reached the nursery. I'd like to withdraw the previous statement. There are certain workplace incidents I don't particularly need repeated. The nursery was one of them. Whoever decided that infants needed to be incorporated into the current biological crisis can expect a strongly worded complaint attached to my resignation. The fact that there seemed to be an inexhaustible supply of them raised additional logistical questions I ultimately decided not to investigate. And then they started exploding. Fantastic. The rest of the workforce hadn't improved much either. The Stalkers deserve particular recognition for pioneering an exciting new form of workplace harassment consisting primarily of hiding behind corners, making irritating noises and repeatedly charging at me when I was trying to get something done. Then, near the end of my contract, another regenerating employee appeared. Oh good. The Hunter has a cousin. Fortunately, by this point I'd become considerably more experienced with conflict resolution. I returned to my preferred equipment: Line Gun and Force Gun. If a procedure works, there's no reason to change it. Engineering duties were actually more prominent this time. I spent a surprising amount of time opening electrical panels and manually rerouting systems, which was strangely comforting. Finally. Something on my résumé. Give me a malfunctioning control panel and a few minutes and I'll happily fix it. Give me an ancient alien artifact capable of manipulating human cognition and creating grotesque biological monstrosities... Apparently I'll fix that too. The job description has experienced significant scope creep. There weren't nearly enough actual engineering puzzles for my liking, though. I would've happily traded several dozen Necromorph encounters for a particularly stubborn electrical system. My mental health remained another ongoing project. Turns out surviving the Ishimura didn't simply become an amusing anecdote for future interviews. I carried it with me. Guilt has an unpleasant habit of following you between employers, and mine had become remarkably good at holding conversations. There were times I genuinely felt the weight of what had happened before. Not simply fear. Responsibility. Loss. The uncomfortable realization that surviving something doesn't necessarily mean you've escaped it. At one point I even returned to the Ishimura. It had been cleaned. Wrapped in quarantine material. Quiet - for the most part. Somehow that made it worse. Seeing an old workplace after a catastrophic incident is strange enough. Seeing it wrapped in plastic like somebody intends to reopen once the stains come out is something else entirely. Thankfully, once my duties were complete, I found an escape pod. I took it. I was not walking back through that ship. I've already completed that contract. Then there was the medical procedure... I won't elaborate. Anyone who has experienced it knows exactly which procedure I mean. Anyone who hasn't... Enjoy the surprise. My optometrist will be receiving a very unusual set of questions at my next appointment. For once, however, the company didn't provide me with an enormous list of optional performance objectives. No missing reports demanding another tour of the station. No requirement to complete the entire catastrophe again while wearing one shoe and armed exclusively with a stapler. No achievement checklist quietly informing me that my 10 hours of suffering constituted only 73% satisfactory employment. I finished my assignment. And I left. That's it. It was wonderful. Would I recommend the position? Absolutely, under roughly the same conditions as my previous engineering contract. You need a strong tolerance for oppressive environments, sudden workplace incidents and former coworkers emerging from ventilation systems without appointments. The work is intense. The atmosphere is relentless. And applicants sensitive to harm involving infants should be warned that this particular branch takes its biological horror somewhere the previous employer didn't. I'd also strongly recommend completing the Ishimura contract first. This isn't an entry-level position. Too much of what happens here depends on understanding why Isaac is already exhausted before his first shift even begins. As for me, I finished the contract relieved, surprisingly satisfied, and almost convinced I'd finally dealt with the whole Marker situation. If I hadn't already seen another vacancy in the same industry, I might even have believed in a happy ending. But I'm not taking that job yet. Instead, I've accepted a much simpler assignment. No engineering. No guns. Very little paperwork. Apparently I'm just a small boy expected to make my way through an enormous, deeply unsettling industrial facility without being told why I'm there or what I'm supposed to be doing. So... Management has finally stopped lying about the job description. They've simply stopped providing one.

I love this game. It's a masterpiece of action horror on par and in many ways even better than RE4. An effortlessly cinematic game that doesn't limit gameplay to pull off its setpieces, instead getting you immersed in Isaac Clarke's horrific adventure by intertwining mechanics with its world and giving you incredibly fun tools to turn any encounter in your favor. Are you surrounded by monsters? No worries, just slow them down with stasis, shoot off one dude's arm, impale the other dude with it, burn the rest by switching to your other weapo... I mean industrial tool and just to be sure, STOMP EVERYTHING. It's a grotesque ballet of death and gore, a non-stop thrill ride that manages to be both terrifying and exhilarating by never letting you know its next move, but always giving you a chance to overcome whatever it throws at you. Even 16 years since its release, Dead Space 2 looks and feels fantastic.
