[b]Cash Grab[/b]. They added new lighting, photo mode, fixed a bug move-set on Lisa, and upgraded 1 of the stage's water and textures. You can literally go to their official website and see exactly what stage(Lost Paradise) they upgraded and how much "different" it looks. They delisted the original DOA6, you can still play it for now (no online). They removed crossplay, DOA6 had it. None of your saved data rolls over you have to unlock everything again from DOA6. DLC do rollover but not everything, extended list of what rolls over can be found on their official website. KOF DLC characters KULA and MAI have to be bought again even if you owned them previously. The DLC prices are double if not more than what they used to cost in DOA6. No balance changes resulting in the same meta as DOA6. [h1]New Player?[/h1] DOA6LR is worth buying if youre interested in picking up the game for the first time, if you did not play DOA6 you have nothing invested, thus youre unaffected for the most part of what is DOA6 Last Round. Online play? Best you join a lobby and find people there or a community somewhere outside of the game to get games, because as of right now this game has 162 players online on a Friday night, and a peak of 1037(which was the release day and been plummeting since). [h1]The Promise[/h1] They plan to release more new content, but so far all we have seen is 1 Kasumi outfit (3 recolors) and 1 Marie Rose outfit (3 recolors) and Nico will be getting a new outfit on July16 as well and I assume 3 recolors, same with Tamaki on July 23. Other than that there have been no news. Just outfits to fill their pockets some more. [b]TL:DR CASH GRAB[/b] Fan? but want to support the game b/c you want more content? Gonna have to suck it up and buy (I personally wont), New Player? Worth getting if you can play with friends or find a community(or enjoy solo), as Online is practically dead.

Yes this version of the game is a lame update with minimum add ons. Yes it’s frustrating team ninja delisted DOA 6 with less than 24 hours. No discount for existing owners. But if you are new to the game I recommend it. Game is really fun. I feel that almost every fighting game game these days are doing shady tactics. I only give it a positive review as I love DOA fighting gameplay and this is a decent option for new players but all the negative reviews are more than fair and point all good points that I don’t need go into.

7 years after the original release and it's the exact same broken game without any substancial improvement yet they have the audacity to charge you as if it were a new version of the game when in reality it's nothing more than some half-baked aditions that have no impact on gameplay and easily could have been a free update. Should be obvious at this point, KT deserves no one money.

If you're first getting into this game, then yeah, it's fine, since it has almost all of the content the original DOA6 has in one package. It's still a fine, fun, fluid fighting game (albeit more bare than its predecessors) that can scratch the itch of a unique 3D fighting game that plays completely differently from its competitors. The free version of this lets you play as Kasumi, NiCO, Honoka, and Marie Rose. ""Fan favorites"" for sure but I have a feeling there's less character variety in this roster compared with DOA6's free roster of Bass, Diego, Kasumi and Hitomi. However, if you already own DOA6, this release just screws you over and forces you to re-buy the whole same game, at full price, with nothing substantial added on at all. In addition to having to buy Mai and Kula again for $11 each. Which is more than the full DOA6 game when it was at its lowest price at $8 on sale. Ouch. And it pretty much killed online for the original so you HAVE to get this version if you at least wanna get matches online. And your fighter coins don't carry over. And you rank resets. And we have to wait for mods to be ported over. And cheat tables. And... ...Ugh, just the more I type, the more pointless this release seems for people who already own DOA6. At least they seem to be keeping their promise of more costumes and characters. For now. DOA is my favorite fighting game series, and let's just hope they keep their promises of more characters and costumes without abandoning it as quickly as they did with the original DOA6. Hopefully. But this is modern Koei Tecmo we're talking about, so don't get your hopes up. Just giving this a thumbs up for newcomers to the game, but for people who already own DOA6, it's just a $40 (or $8 if you play one character) online pass that exists for no good reason.

This should've been a patch for DOA6. Continued updates and content drops don't justify a complete re-release. At the time of this review, 2 costume packs with 4 costumes each have dropped. One for Kasumi and the other for Marie. Each costume individually is either $7.99 or $10.99 and the packs containing them are sold for $20.99. These are insane prices for costumes. DoA5 had costume sets as well, but they often contained costumes for ALL 35 CHARACTERS for around $30. These are terrible prices for something that should've been continued support for the original release.

[h1] 靠美女出圈的格斗游戏，七年收官却炒了碗冷饭？ [/h1] 提起3D格斗游戏，别人聊帧数、立回、搓招复杂度，但当聊到《死或生》，多半还是心照不宣的先聊那些风情万种的角色、标志性的“物理效果”，以及海量的服装DLC。就很…… 说实话，我最初知道这个系列，也不是冲格斗玩法去的。毕竟当年《沙滩排球》的名头太响，谁都知道这是个“养眼”的IP。直到真正上手玩过才发现，很多人都低估了它的格斗底子。可毕竟时日已久，许多设计还是存在可提升的部分的，所以时隔七年当《死或生6：最后一战》打着“终极整合版”的名号在2026年重新上架时，我其实还是相当期待的。 被颜值耽误的格斗，其实没那么简单 尽管很多人对游戏的认知都是“靠脸吃饭”，但它的战斗系统，恰恰是3D格斗里对新手最友好的那一档。 游戏的核心玩法逻辑说白了就像是猜拳，打击克投掷、投掷克反击、反击克打击，三角循环环环相扣。不用记几十套连招帧数，两个攻击键配合方向，就能打出上中下三段攻击。新手哪怕瞎按，也能摸出几套连贯动作，不会像玩其他格斗游戏那样，小白基本上全程都要被摁在地上摩擦。 而在之上，致命突击和崩解量表的加入，又给对局加了更多变数。前者只需连续按下单个按键，角色就能自动打出一套完整的四连击，将对手打入倒地硬直从而衔接后续操作，纯萌新也能打出爽感。与之搭配的是“崩解量表”，消耗能量可以释放强行打断对手攻势的“崩解反击”，或者演出华丽的终结技。两套设计让新人也能打出像样的攻防，不至于被老手从头压到尾。 这套系统的妙处在于游戏的入门门槛低，但策略深度并不因此缩水。高手之间的对局依然围绕着帧数、起身压制、危险地带的利用展开。理博弈的拉满程度，一点不比硬核格斗游戏弱。只是它把门槛藏在了好看的皮囊下面，而愿意深挖的人，照样能玩出花来~ [h1]七年过去，升级的地方到底有多少 [/h1] 说回这次的“最后一战”，相信大部分人都抱着高清重置的期待打开游戏，真正上手后反而更像是个年度整合版？ 最实在的更新是角色阵容。原版基础24名角色，这次把女天狗、红叶、瑞秋、Phase-4、环这5个当年的付费DLC角色直接收进了本体，首发就能玩到29人，从冷面忍者、元气女仆到妖怪天狗，各种风格全覆盖。但遗憾的是，人气最高的联动角色不知火舞和库拉依旧要单独掏钱买，哪怕你原版早就买过，到了新版本也得重新解锁。 然后画面上也加了个OBORO胧光照系统，皮肤质感、水体反光、环境光影确实比原版细腻了一点，角色流汗、污渍的细节也更真实，系列传统异艺能依然出色。可说实话，七年时间就这点进步，实在不够看。尤其是建模精度、场景纹理基本还是以前的水准，和现在的《街霸6》《铁拳8》摆在一起，差距一眼就能看出来，说是“次世代升级”实在太勉强。 所以兜兜转转真正戳中玩家喜好的，还得是新增的拍照模式。在这个模式下可以自由选择角色和场景，调整站位、姿势、表情，甚至能逐帧选取出招过程中的某一个瞬间进行定格。想拍出展现角色魅力的“战斗大片”，完全看你愿意花多少心思，可惜拍照模式的新鲜感来得快去得也快，剩下的部分和七年前玩过的那个游戏基本没啥区别，属实是有点难绷了。 [h1]写在最后 [/h1] 如果你从来没接触过《死或生6》，想试试这款“颜值与玩法并存”的3D格斗，那这个版本是目前入坑最完整的选择。29个角色、全套剧情、完善的练习模式，再加上友好的上手门槛，哪怕只打打单机剧情、拍拍照片，也足够值回票价。拿不准的话不妨先下免费版试试四个角色，如果满意再入手。 可如果你是早就玩透原版的老玩家，真心没必要花这笔冤枉钱。提升微乎其微，继承处处受限，与其花钱买个换皮版本，不如等系列正统续作的消息。 其实挺感慨的，《死或生》系列走了三十年，明明有独一份的三角反击系统，有扎实的3D格斗底子，却始终困在“养眼”的标签里。这次的收官之作，没能靠玩法让人记住，反倒因为冷饭收割惹了争议。 希望下一部正统续作，能真的拿出点新东西。毕竟再好的情怀，也架不住反复翻炒；再好看的角色，也得有配得上的玩法，才能走得更远。 [quote] 奏游戏之乐章，品人生之绚烂 [url=https://store.steampowered.com/curator/45672460/]欢迎加入 『 丰川集团 』[/url] [u][b]以丰川集团之名，行评测鉴赏之事[/b][/u][/quote]

I did not own the 2019 version and this is my first DOA game. If you are playing for the fun of it and not trying to climb ranks or be the best in the world yeah its worth the price 100 percent. There is no roll back netcode major fail on the devs and no crossplay another major L but like i say play for fun and youll enjoy it.
