An entirely separate campaign inspired by classic survival horror games, set prior to the events of the main game. Play as Anya, a fledgling actress who finds herself helplessly lost in the mansion after her film crew is attacked by the undead.
Abandoned by her leading man and left alone with nothing but a mask to disguise herself with, Anya must escape the increasingly warped and deadly estate all on her own.

At first the game didn't leave a lasting impression, but beating it afterwards changes a bit. This for me is when the game shines because you have more characters to pick from; that and the items being unique too. The weapons don't feel note worthy until you get items that make them broken. For example, in my Jeff run the thumbtack doesn't seem that special on its own, until you get glass eye. Melting anything you throw at it on the normal difficulty, but I'm not sure what the other modes are like. There is a lot of variety to the items and weapons that, and the fast paced nature makes the game super replay-able. Beside gameplay the visual storytelling gets the job done, but its not crazy. It's enough to keep your attention after beating runs with different characters, and good enough to see what happens next story wise. I'd recommend this if you enjoy roguelites, the gameplay loop is solid. Side note, Cordelia is peak. ......................,,-~|*~,, ......................./:_.|.__| ......................|__.___/ ......................|.;.;.;. ;.| ............._,,,,,_.).;.;.;.;.| .........,,-":.:.:.:."~-,;.;.;.| ........(_,,,,---,,_:.:.);.;.;..",, ......,-":.:.:.:.:.""-,,/;.;.;.;.;.", .....(:.__,,,,,,,,,___);.;.;.;.;.;| ...../"":.:.:.:.:.:.:¯""\;.;.;.;.;.," ....\",__,,,,,,,,,,,__/;;;;;;;;;/\ .....\.::.:.:.:.:.:.:.;.);;;;;;;;;/:\ .......\,,,,,---~~~~;;;;;;;;,"::::\ .........."""~~--,,,,,,,,,,-"::::::::::\ ░█▀▀ ░█▀█ ░█ ░█▀▀ ░ ░█▀▀ ░█▀▀ ░█ ░█ ░░░ ░▀▀▀ ░▀ ░░░▀ ░▀▀▀ ░

Este juego es buenisimo. No soy mucho de los Rogue likes pero este me encantó, tiene una gran jugabilidad y una MUY BUENA TRAMA( oh si cordelia que rico 🔥🔥🥵) es un 1000/10
For a long time The Binding of Isaac was my gold standard for twin stick roguelikes. I can honestly say Dead Estate has now taken that spot for me. The runs are fast, the characters are all fun to play as with unique quirks, and the art style is so fun and varied; when I first was exploring the floors I always looked forward to seeing what theme the next one was going to use. Items still follow the formula or not universally good, but I felt the "bad" items were never a game over, and just required me to use more creative means to clear the floor. I've also played exclusively on a Legion Go S and the game runs great with no hitches or slowdown. Overall, a definite recommend if you enjoy the genre and it might just be the most fun I've had with this type of game ever.
I am enjoying the game but I am unreasonably pissed I'm trying to get threw the secondary floors to get the pieces together and more then once it when I'm trying to grab the parts or the boss key that some how I pass threw the key or the objects, when I'm being chased I'll end up passing threw the items, or I'll jump clear above an any and still get hit. Like I said fun game but with these collisions its not my favorite it does not feel good it just drains all the joy of the run 3.5 out of 5.
