An entirely separate campaign inspired by classic survival horror games, set prior to the events of the main game. Play as Anya, a fledgling actress who finds herself helplessly lost in the mansion after her film crew is attacked by the undead.
Abandoned by her leading man and left alone with nothing but a mask to disguise herself with, Anya must escape the increasingly warped and deadly estate all on her own.

I honestly can't believe I've only played 13 hours of this game. Review below, spoiler free. Fast pace gameplay meets bullet-hell meets perspective-hell in an old, classic videogame vibe with tons of references and eye-candy. I honestly started out playing this game and HATED IT, considered refunding it in the first hour of gameplay just because the perspective and gameplay difficulty got me. Then, I ran out of stuff to play and years later came back to check it out. Boy, was I wrong about this one. Playing it again definitely reminds me of how hard the game is, but there's a charm and enjoyment in that difficulty. And, the game has a surprising depth to it, with multiple mechanics tucked away not always evident, and an actual story you unlock through progression. Ultimately, I hated this game too early and wish I didn't put it down too fast. Consider that if you find the game to challenging. Or, if you like a challenge, enjoy! TL;DR lots of depth, retro charm, story, and challenging gameplay. Worth the pricetag.
This game is a hidden gem, it has got a TON of content with the developers having released six FREE major content updates, each of them adding things such as characters, weapons, items, enemies, costumes and levels; it really offers much more content than it seems having different endings that you can get by taking different routes with complete new levels with different enemies and bosses. It also has a lot of achievements for trophy hunters. Overall, a great game with a sense of humor, fun gameplay and a ton of content.
