About
10 years of horror. 10 years of jump scares and close calls. 10 years of brutal sacrifices and thrilling escapes.
Trapped forever in a realm of eldritch evil where even death is not an escape, four determined Survivors face a bloodthirsty Killer in a vicious game of nerve and wits. Pick a side and step into a world of tension and terror with horror gaming's best asymmetrical multiplayer.
Survivors play in third-person and have the advantage of better situational awareness. The Killer plays in first-person and is more focused on their prey.
The Survivors' goal in each encounter is to escape the Killing Ground without getting caught by the Killer - something that sounds easier than it is, especially when the environment changes every time you play.
• Survive Together… Or Not - Survivors can either cooperate with the others or be selfish. Your chance of survival will vary depending on whether you work together as a team or if you go at it alone. Will you be able to outwit the Killer and escape their Killing Ground?
• Where Am I? - Each level is procedurally generated, so you’ll never know what to expect. Random spawn points mean you will never feel safe as the world and its danger change every time you play.
• A Feast for Killers - Dead by Daylight draws from all corners of the horror world. As a Killer you can play as anything from a powerful Slasher to terrifying paranormal entities. Familiarize yourself with your Killing Grounds and master each Killer’s unique power to be able to hunt, catch and sacrifice your victims.
• Deeper and Deeper - Each Killer and Survivor has their own deep progression system and plenty of unlockables that can be customized to fit your own personal strategy. Experience, skills and understanding of the environment are key to being able to hunt or outwit the Killer.
• Real People, Real Fear - The procedural levels and real human reactions to pure horror makes each game session an unexpected scenario. You will never be able to tell how it’s going to turn out. Ambience, music, and chilling environments combine into a terrifying experience. With enough time, you might even discover what’s hiding in the fog.

this is funniest and best game ever, i play and love it thank you
I can say that I have enjoyed my time with this game so far for the most part, but everything you've heard about this game, its playerbase and its developers are 1000% true. Every single game is either 0 or 100. You'll either utterly annihilate the other side, or get annihilated yourself with no inbetween. If you aren't a total god at the game, running full meta perks is non-negotiable. This of course makes the game not exactly pay-to-win but rather pay-to-have-a-massively-increased-chance-of-winning, as you'll need to either drop a couple bucks on the characters with the meta perks even if you don't want to play them, or just hope and pray that they end up in the shrine to buy individually with shards. Believe me when I say that I would love to not have to run a full slowdown loadout and actually be able to craft a fun build, but the game will be over in 5 minutes if you don't unless you're a genuine god-gamer. Some of the maps are also borderline unplayable either by being headache-inducing mazes or having timewastingly idiotic layouts where a single mistake might as well end the game right then and there. A decent chunk of the killer roster has been powercrept into oblivion, with almost all of the killers considered to be the best ones being some of the most recent releases, with only hillbilly and nurse being considered powerful in the current meta among the ones you get for free. Every other killer and survivor must be purchased, and only original characters can be bought with in-game currency; all licensed characters can only be bought for real money. Cosmetics are also cartoonishly expensive, with a full set that isn't a recolor being $10 in real money or tens of thousands of shards which takes hours upon hours of grinding to get, and some sets can ONLY be bought for real money as well. Just bought a licensed killer for real money and want to grind for one of their two cosmetic sets? Unlucky; because both of them are twice as expensive as the killer themselves with no option to buy them with shards. The playerbase really is as bad a everyone says. Survivor players (80% of the playerbase) genuinely and without a hint of hyperbole expect killers to throw the game so that they'll get more bloodpoints. They'll ragequit or afk after a single down, teabag at the exit gates, and use endgame chat to either whine about losing or BM after winning. Want to play a killer you enjoy playing? Well if that killer isn't blight, bubba, trapper or wraith, prepare to be constantly ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ at by 4 spoiled, entitled children that despite their meta perks essentially playing the game for them and them basically cheating over discord, lost to a killer who is considered by the playerbase to be one of the weakest in the game that's being piloted by a fresh-install. They'll spam flashlights, generator bombs, flashbangs, teabags and pallet emotes, then play victim when they get any pushback. They have a laundry list of unofficial Calvinball rules that they expect you to abide by at all times, and if you dare "tunnel" or "slug" or anything else that isn't just laying down to accept your beating, they'll throw a tantrum. Survivors can: get a burst of speed when hit, get temporary invinciblity when unhooked, can get a massive speed boost with sprint burst, can break out of the killer's grasp for free with decisive strike, can "parry" attacks with dead hard, can instantly stun the killer with head-on, can heal infinitely as long as they have a few seconds, can unhook themselves if the killer stays too close to the hook, can get up after being downed with unbreakable, can save each other from being grabbed with flashlights, can escape the match for free if they find the hatch, dying requires being hit twice and then hooked 3 seperate times... and still they manage to lose and then complain about it. There are also "bully squads" where 4 people will get together into a group purely to make the killer's life a living hell while ignoring the objective, which sums up the kinds of people this game attracts pretty succinctly. "Adult daycare" is the most apt way I've seen this game described. The developers are trigger-happy at the best of times when it comes to banning people for things said inside and outside the game, but suffice it to say: everyone who knows of this game knows that the balancing has been atrocious since day one, the content cycles have slowed to a crawl, the monetization is cartoonishly egregious, every big content-creator in their creator program is bought and paid for and will be instantly kicked out if they say anything negative, and the devs were even caught engaging in discriminatory hiring practices at one point. They also have a tendency to wear their "eccentricities" on their sleeves in all promotional materials and shove them into the game as well. The one thing that both sides of the playerbase can agree on is the devs. If you want to play this game, you have to go in with the mindset that it's an unbalanced and horrifically monetized game made by a "less than ideal" company that you should not take seriously in any way whatsoever. Trying to take this game seriously will result in it chewing you up and spitting you out with an elevated blood pressure and several bald spots as a parting gift. Do I enjoy playing this game? Sometimes. Do I recommend that you, the reader, should drop any money on this game? Absolutely not. The devs have said on multiple occasions that you should go play another game if you don't like what they're doing, and that's exactly what you should do.
This is the worst ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ game ever do not install this ♥♥♥♥ ever unless you want to ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ feel the ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ urge to slit your throat. BHVR is the worst game studio ever and they won't buff the legion because they all suck ♥♥♥♥, Take this as a sign to never install this god awful game every unless you want hemorrhoids.
Before I write this review please note that I do not enjoy this game and only got it to play the FNAF Collab I've played about 39 hours of Springtrap and just now started playing a second killer The Ghost Face who I've been enjoying as a fresh break from playing Slowass Springtrap. Now. Flashlights oh how I hate flashlight they are the worst thing I've seen in my life I load into a lobby and a gang of idiots make it so 90% of the match blind, and I can't do anything I just have to sit and suffer as they play around my blinded eyes Also I rarely play as survivor but when I do it feels fine just kinda boring and quite a lot of times it's just running around in circles forever as I don't have many levels as them so I can't really say anything but as killer I enjoy these loops to try and find out how to fight back Anyways I only play this as a punishment to myself, and don't have that much fun lol but the collabs are really fun to see

One of the best games i have ever played, I'd highly recommend it to everyone though it still has things to improve for example the fact that it isn't very family friendly, if u decide to start playing you will have to learn tons and tons of information of both killers and survivors perks, powers, and the company is every now and then doing controversial balance changes, so if you are willing to learn and tolerate some bad decisions you will love it. (Watch out with the community more of them are quite toxic and mean sadly) (Also even though the game isn't free you will find yourself a lot of characters lock if you dont spend money so remember to check when the bundles are in sales)
ta gra znisczyla moje zycie biore rozwód za tydzien nie polecam
f no the player base so bad like how too i get teammate that just do nothing when im looping against the killer and when im the killer two of them has a flashlight like wtf. make rank or something because there is no elo in this game. like a 3k hours player would be worse than a 300 hour player because skill diff but his game ahs none of it so im playing good killer with a bad teammate. i can show my stats that im not the fking probleem
