[h1] The true antidepressant[/h1] This is the only souls game I have ever played, my first playthrough was back in winter of 2023 I had just broken up with my girlfriend at the time because my mental health was declining and I didn't want to bring her down with me, I was 19 and was never big on single player games but i heard this game could 'cure depression' a far fetched claim that i never thought would be so accurate. i was stuck on the taurus demon for 2 days straight and i still remember the feeling i got when i finally defeated him. Recently I've fallen deeper into my depression, my bar shut down i left my construction company i had spent 3 years building, i had to cut off the one person that was keeping me positive and to top it off the person that was always there for me took her own life, i felt completely hopeless and again suicide becomes a very load thought that i couldn't escape, this game was my escape. revisiting it properly for the first time since my first playthrough years ago i was bad at it but that's part of the charm of this game, that with every 'you died' screen it only made me want to try again. This game restores hope and faith in yourself when you feels like your stuck and you've failed as long as your still breathing you can and will over come it. if you have never touched ds1 i couldn't recommend it more and after this run I will 100% be continuing to play the other games in the franchise. I hope everyone finds their sun and please, [b]don't go hollow[/b].
