The world is beautiful and I really enjoyed exploring it. Overall I had fun with the game, but I'd give it a 7.5/10. The movement feels clunky, the dodge system is terrible, and the enemy placement is just bad. Instead of being challenging, it often feels frustrating. I also hate the healing system. Why do I have to wait for the animation and then wait again for my HP to fill up? and losing max HP every time you die until you use a Human Effigy is just annoying. I still enjoyed the game, but for me it doesn't even come close to Dark Souls 1 or Dark Souls 3.

For me, this is the worst game of the Dark Souls trilogy. That said, it still has some great ideas and, even being the weakest, it's still a good game. One of my favorite boss designs was the Flexile Sentry, two connected bodies with arms on the front and back of the boss. It's a cool idea, since players often try to position themselves behind bosses to attack safely, and this design directly punishes that habit by forcing you to deal with both sides at once. The DLCs were another highlight for me, especially the bosses Fume Knight and Sir Alonne. Another great addition was the Bonfire Ascetic. It lets you refight bosses and reset specific areas to a harder New Game+ state without having to progress the entire game again, something unique to the dark souls trilogy. It's a small mechanic, but it adds a lot of replay value and lets you farm specific bosses without the hassle of a full NG+ run. On the weaker side, the Adaptability stat was a frustrating addition, it locks iframes and roll speed behind a stat investment. Some areas felt like they had too many enemies. Another issue was the loss of iframes during certain animations, like opening fog gates or doors, which left you vulnerable at moments that felt unfair (though it didn't affect me too much personally, since I usually cleared out enemies before moving on). Going for the platinum trophy was also a bit tedious, mainly because of covenant farming. Having already platinumed Dark Souls 1 and 3 beforehand, I was already used to that kind of grind. Overall, this game left me frustrated at times, but even considering it the weakest of the trilogy, I still think it's a good game.
i hate this game so much

Лучшая игра серии соулс. С удовольствием периодически захожу поиграть. 9 YOU DIED ИЗ 10. P.S. Была бы 10 если бы не траблы с серверами.
魂二还是很好玩的,双手各持武器,滴露,篝火探究者感觉都是很棒的设计,暗港用火把逐渐点亮也很有感觉,火把最有用的一代。
