This was my first Souls game. I hold it in a special place in my heart. I know it has some shortcomings, but I come back to it more than any soulslike.
스꼴라...... 당신이 이 게임의 철학을 아는가..?
I hate the durability I hate the hitboxes I hate the agro mechanic BUT I LIKE THAT IT HURTS
Best dark souls game.
It has some elements that may be frustrating but if you're willing to learn it's super fun!
Definetily not as bad as I was led to believe. There were certainly some moments that made me think the game was ragebaiting me with the bs game design but these did not make the majority of the game, plus this also happened with DS1. If anything, there were some locations with poor enemy choice/weak enemy variety I especially loved Majula as a hub and the splitting paths. Some unique mechanics to this game were interesting while others not so much (Im looking at you ADP) As for DLC's, I'd rank them Old Iron King>Ivory King>Sunken King (we don't talk about frigid outskirts)
Overall, the game was enjoyable. I'd give it a solid 6.5
.
I actually hate this game
♥♥♥♥ this game.
Perfect introduction to the soulsborne series, being one of the hardest and clunkiest across all the series, if you can beat this one, nothing else should scare you.... Except The Orphan Of Kos.
