I enjoy the Dark Romance series and the switching between the characters to play the game from their point of view, but this story is my least favorite. You play as a prince whose father has passed away. His mother, the queen, accused Celeste, the Fairy Queen, of poisoning the King, and the only way to revive him was to use the fairy queen's wings. Taking this piece of advice you received from your mother, you embark on an adventure to seek revenge for your father's death. The game will take turns showing you the prince's side, and you'll play as Celeste to see both sides of the story. https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=3304690025 The artwork is beautiful and colorful—Domini games never fail to deliver colorful and detailed artwork. The soundtracks are fitting and atmospheric. The voiceovers are not bad; I immensely enjoyed them, although they sometimes sound theatrical. https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=3304689699 Some puzzles were challenging, especially the last one, which was randomly generated, but the variety made them enjoyable; the hidden objects scenes were excellent and varied in type. https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=3271055573 You have multiple things to look at while playing: the tasks book, the journal, and even the collectibles section, where you have multiple types of collectibles: bestiary cards, Celeste jewelry, and the garden. Pros: +Good colorful graphics. +Fast traveling map. +Verity of hidden object scenes. +Verity of puzzles (Some of them are very challenging) +Good soundtracks. +OK voice acting. +Three different collectibles. (One used to purchase garden upgrades, bestiary cards, Celeste jewelries) Cons: -Obvious story. -No steam achievements (In-game achievements) Its not the best game story-wise, but the puzzles and hidden objects games are fun to play in one of the weekends. It is recommended for people who enjoy this genre. A wonderful game! Loved the garden themed graphics, colorful and crystal clear. The storyline was quite complex for an HOG game. The story went on and on - but that's a good thing because I find many end abruptly! Tons of varied puzzles, some I've never seen before which the avid HOG gamer will surely find refreshing. Lots of bonus things to find & collect during the game.
Another hidden-object game where you can play as two people. A prince sets off to deal with an evil sorceress that has poisoned his father to death. And a fairy queen seeks to save her realm from the encroachment of humanity. Suffice to say, there are plots afoot… Plot is interesting, hidden object scenes are fun, and the minigames challenging. Do recommend getting in the bundle.
Nice!
Another absolutely beautiful game that I enjoyed playing so very much. Outstanding graphics, wonderful story line, soothing music, built in strategy guide (if needed) hint button, bonus chapter that flows on from the main game. Everything that you could want in a game is right there. I am getting to like playing the two characters in these stories, (I now own two.) This game series has me totally Hooked. Thank you once again to each and everyone that was involved in making this such an absolutely beautiful game. Thanx
excellent
Unfortunately another weak entry in the series. It's not bad per se but the story is quite boring.
Not recommended just because a few of the mini games and HOGs aren't made that well, ie. the matching items don't look anything alike and the games finish while you're still fiddling with them.
The story is a poor rip off of "Maleficent". I haven't finished it yet, the graphics are fine, puzzles are hit and miss but there is just nothing really enjoyable about this one. I play a lot of puzzle and sim games and look at clock thinking where has the time gone, this is not one of those games.
This is state of the art. Loved the swapping of main characters telling an absorbing and addictive story. Beautiful scenes , challenging but doable puzzles, and apart from the timed HOGS, which can be done in the extras, got all the achievements. Only cons were that although the music is good, most of the time its background sounds and the actor who plays Augustina in the bonus game is awful - weird accent.
