These games are always tons of fun and provide a nice challenge. Would be cool if there was an expert mode though for once you complete the hard mode
Dark Parables: The Red Riding Hood Sisters is my favourite title in the series so far! The story telling is really great and the settings and hidden object scenes were beautiful. I didn't have any issues with this particular game either, so all around a great experience!
I have played the games from the series before and now that I got them on steam I'm slowly making my way throughout the series once more. This was one of my favorites, maybe because I'm partial to the story of the Little Red Riding Hood and things like the ranger class in DND. The forth game of the Dark Parable series follow the Fairytale detective once more to investigate the reports from a missing girl rescued from the forest. According to her, wolves covered in mist were being commanded by a mysterious woman with glowing eyes. Set out to meet up with the order of the Red Riding Hood Sisters that protect the region for centuries, the detective is ambushed shortly as she arrived but also rescued by one of the sisters, named Ruth. Together, they set out to investigate the mysterious Wolf Queen and rescue the other sisters, who have been kidnapped. This title expands the lore of the series even further, with ramifications that will be met in future titles and a special surprise from one of the previous games. The story of this game in itself have a few twists and some interesting characters too. While there aren’t any noticeable new mechanics, the pacing is much better than Rise of the Snow Queen with the backtracking being far more logical and better structured, with the story giving better indication on where to go next than before. Graphic-wise they did try some angles for the backgrounds that are unusual for HoD games, with varying results but still welcomed, with most of the locations being pleasing to look at. The Bonus Content takes place 500 before the story and reveals what happened to the Mist Kingdom and why it is the way it is, inspired by The Boy Who Cried Wolf. It has some very beautiful visuals and can be very colorful, contrasting to the somewhat darker tones of the main story that appropriately uses night themes. It is a very good game, a point that the series found a good formula and stuck with it.
ME HACE LLORAR. ME HACE ACORDAR A ALGUIEN QUE QUISE MUCHO. </3
The game is lovely and has a high production value. Gameplay, hidden object scenes, puzzles, graphics and characters are superb in every way. This is one of my favorite games.
This is a very good game! Art is beautiful, music is spooky and lovely, and the sound effects sounds great. Characters are well written and sympathetic, and the story is simple and well told. Puzzles are clever and intriguing, and there's plenty of hidden object puzzles for anyone who loves looking for hidden objects. A great twist on fairytales, including Little Red Riding Hood.
Sehr schade.
This is Dark Parables #4, which is very loosely based on Red Riding Hood with a mix of other fairly tale elements, especially The Boy Who Cried Wolf as a bonus adventure. Though this series had a bad start with Curse of the Briar Rose, it has been solid since Dark Parables 2: The Exiled Prince. Indeed, it keeps getting better. The drawings are truly excellent and the gameplay, though unremarkable, has hit a stride. If you enjoyed the previous games, you'll enjoy this one. Note that these are hidden-fragment games rather than classic hidden-object games.
I love all of the Dark parable hidden objekt games. This one is good but wished it had more in it, it felt.. Short? Still liked it though
