I really enjoyed this game! finnished all the levels that are currently in the game, to bad you can finnish it very fast, but in game you get told that more levels are on its way looking forward to real high and hard maps to climb https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=joURw8DdPkU
This is far more enjoyable than I imagined. I have more fun playing this than The Climb for Oculus Rift. I don't get as scared in The Climb because I'm always looking up at the next place to grab and I'm also constantly looking at a wall. In this game you always see what's below you and let me tell you it's very scary when you're up high!
This game has seen a lot of improvements since it's first release. There are a healthy amount of levels now, and the art design and use of color are very appealing. Using your hands to move is my favorite locomotion scheme in VR at the moment, and it works well here in one of the first experiences to use that method. Flinging yourself through the levels is a lot of fun. If you already have Climbey or are not turned on by it's drab aesthetic, this is a good alternative.
This is my first attempt at MR, enjoy. https://youtu.be/ixF_MAuBq9Y Sweet Escape VR is a racing climbing game where you try and beat the clock or other players to the finish line. This game is just pure fun and a must own for any Vive owner. I haven't played multiplayer yet but I imagine it's even better than single player.
Sweet Escape VR is a very unique game. Climbing the courses with friends is great and can be a challenge. The best part of the game was being able to launch yourself from the the colorful gumdrops and choclatebars. Sweet Escape VR also isn't afraid of heights, falling couldn't be more terrifying.
Lots of fun, not a ton out there for VR yet so really cool to see some grass roots stuff. Hope they make it to PS VR as im dying to play that too! Looking forward to see what else these guys put out.
The climbing mechanic is incredibly well done. Once I got in the home, I soon found myself purely swinging from object to object, trying to impress my friends with death defying stunts. It brings back the sense of KZ climbers from counter-strike. I thoroughly enjoyed the feel of propelling myself forward and can't wait to see if they can make some truly challenging puzzles.
This is an amazing experience, It has a lot of potential and it worths every Euro I spent on it. I just hope there are coming more levels and a bit more difficult, maybe with some floor.. making some level design more.. designed. But it just give a great experience. Lots of emotions there! It maybe does not look like some game you would buy because of the theme, but.. it does worth it.
Really fun game to compete with friends in 1v1 races.
Right now this is really short, but I love the mechanic, totally looking forward to more content :) I have yet to play it in multiplayer but I look forward to that too! :D Edit: There is now a fair amount of levels in the game, and some of the concept levels are just insane, with incredible heights, quite the thrilling experience IMO! I've now tried a few other climbing games, but I have to say Sweet Escape is still one of the more natural and intuitive ones out there, and I use it as a good examples of how to do it. Getting really into it and acquiring the muscle memory to do crazy launches is very satisfying. I think one of the only negatives is the weird mechanism to transition between levels, with two ways to rate a level, a yay/nay button pair, and then you get moved to where you see buttons to navigate levels. It's a bit convoluted, and without voting the navigation buttons are small in the distance. The climbing is still great, just this navigation that irks me :)
