From notes about Order of the Red Riding Hood Sisters:
"A long, long time ago, a young orphan girl named Isabella set off for the forest to visit her grandma. Wearing her favorite red riding hood while humming a happy tune, she skipped down the forest path. As she entered her grandma's house, a wolf suddenly sprang out, slaying her grandmother. Shocked, she tried to escape, only to find that the wolf was too fast foe her. As death loomed over Isabella, a hunter miraculously appeared, defeating the wolf and saving the girl's life. Feeling pity for Isabella who just lost the last of her family, the Hunter adopted her. Desiring to become stronger to prevent future tragedies, Isabella asked the Hunter for training. She soon became a skillful and powerful warrior and spent many happy days patrolling with the Hunter. Years passed until one day, the Hunter was slain by a pack of varacious wolves. Devastated, isabella vowed to carry on the Hunter's legacy to keep the fores safe and to protect the weak from harm." The First Sister.
I gotta say... This one was far sexier than the others. We went from beautiful women and handsome men in fine clothing to women dressed for mobility. That's one way to turn a Red-Hood outfit into a Huntswoman outfit. Approved. There was even emotional connection to the game too. Especially between... Two characters and what transpires. Otherwise... Hints will now "show you" where to go. Game play/puzzles are still hard and you've got to pay attention to almost everything. Because items you can't examine? Could be the item you need. Lol...! Still good. Still going. Keep it up! :D :> :)
Dark Parables: The Red Riding Hood Sisters is my favourite title in the series so far! The story telling is really great and the settings and hidden object scenes were beautiful. I didn't have any issues with this particular game either, so all around a great experience!
while not as great in the puzzle department, the production values of the fourth installment in the dark parables series are up the roof. the animations, acting, art and sound direction are beyond spectacular, and the plot catches up with a great cameo and a couple of twists that grab you by the throat and refuse to let go. the wolf queen in particular stands out as a great and tragic villain, and she's drawn and animated to enhance the effect she has in every scene she's present. in this one, the extra material in the form of fables offers a bigger view of the overall plot for the series and hints not only who's going to be the focus of the next entry but also what connects all of these magical threads and why. if you're into the story of the dark parables series, this will surely please you.
These games are always tons of fun and provide a nice challenge. Would be cool if there was an expert mode though for once you complete the hard mode
That will be my 3rd time to play trough again. The mini-games, the story, I have to say one of the best Dark parables game. I can only just recommend this one!!!
It does goes on sale sometimes, so you can buy on discount or in the bundle. In the previous game the devs started to care a great deal about animations so they're still quite good. The release order of Dark Parables is: Curse of Briar Rose The Exiled Prince Rise of the Snow Queen The Red Riding Hood Sisters The Final Cinderella Jack and the Sky Kingdom Ballad of Rapunzel The Little Mermaid and the Purple Tide Queen of Sands Goldilocks and the Fallen Star Swan Princess and the Dire Tree The Thief and the Tinderbox Requiem for the Forgotten Shadow Return of the Salt Princess The Match Girl’s Lost Paradise Portrait of the Stained Princess
It's good for the people who like fairy tales.
really good
Despite the obvious plot twist, it's a decent story and good puzzles. As gorgeous as usual.
