About
Cursed Blood is a brutal 1–4 player co-op roguelike set in a twisted bloodpunk samurai world, where ruthless apes wield katanas in a revenge-fueled rampage against the mafia that desecrated their sacred Shrine of Vermillion.
The Shrine now calls for retribution — and it’s paid in blood, delivered through unrelenting katana combat and sheer brutality.

Mix both online and local co-op seamlessly — couch warriors and distant friends can join the same blood-soaked run.
Or go solo and carve your path through vengeance alone, armed with nothing but your blade and rage.

Dash, deflect, and dismember with samurai precision. Chain lightning-fast moves, brutal takedowns, and charged slashes into seamless high-speed melee combat.
Unleash devastating finishers and heal by consuming the blood of your enemies — every strike feeding the Shrine’s hunger.
Each procedurally generated level overflows with danger, secrets, and non-stop, blood-fueled action.

Rip weapons from your enemies and turn their firepower against them — until the ammo runs dry.
Then hurl the gun back in their face and unleash a charged katana strike to split them clean in half.
Blood sprays, limbs fly, and the survivors crawl away begging for mercy. None will be given.

Explore a stunning bloodpunk world where industrial-era machinery fuses with forbidden blood-powered technology.
Collect Blood Orbs from chests, bosses, and hidden loot to unlock deadly katanas and specialized gear tied to the world mutation you’re fighting through.
Earn Blood Orbs in battle to upgrade your equipped weapons and gear, evolving your abilities and carving out your own ruthless playstyle.

Face a brutal roster of evolving bosses — each mutating into stronger, more vicious forms mid-fight.
Slay them, take their heads, and offer their remains to the Shrine of Vermillion to restore balance through carnage.

Unlock World Mutations that twist the rules of combat and reshape every run. Conquer them to earn new katanas, powers, and endless replayability.
Cursed Blood is a relentless roguelike co-op action game — a challenge to master, a feast for the violent, and something to sink your teeth (and blade) into for hours on end.

好玩,就是关卡就两BOSS,内容太少
I made a video review for this game if anyone is interested: https://youtu.be/PEe5VRoYJHQ?si=CZRPjtFg9kwa3zFD As the game stands right now at $15, I do think I can recommend it. Some reviews mention lack of content. There is a lack of content when it comes to story, bosses, and levels. However, that's where the content shortage ends. There is still progression in terms of weapon variety. Weapons are unlocked and upgraded by just playing the game. There are 4 game modes, each with their own difficulty tiers. Each difficulty tier adds new modifiers, such as more, faster enemies. Most of the time it only takes one or two full runs on a certain difficulty to unlock or upgrade a weapon. The replayability is there in the game. In terms of quality of content, I believe this game is very high quality. The overall good: -Good performance, constant 60+ fps with no stutters or frame drops. -Good graphics and unique art style -Satisfying, weighty combat -Amazing sound design of attacks, deflecting attacks, and ambient sounds such as thunder and blood squirts -Classic couch and online co-op up to 4 players. Where the game could use improvement: -Obviously, more chapters and LONGER chapters -More diversity of level tile sets -More build variety -The ability to save and quit mid run -Visual progression. Upgrading weapons should also make them look cooler, or you can unlock skins by finding secrets or completing certain challenges. -Honestly, even more enemies and more enemy variety -As the game stands, I still find the game incredibly easy even on harder difficulties as a solo player. The only time I die is when I get stunned and killed while on the floor. The game is in Early Access, and just released into it at that. That being said, the game is enjoyable and worth the current price tag of $15. Given time and the right direction, I can see this game taking off.
I've bought the game for my partner and I, we're seasoned roguelike/lite players and so far I really enjoyed playing. I recommend playing with a controller. The mechanics are simple but very effective, fairly easy to pick up but very satisfying when well executed (deflect, parry, finisher). Curses are quite original and bring fun twists to each run, it's kinda like a gamble, you wanna see what you're gonna get next. The movement and combat feedback feels great, there are sometimes issues with the camera clipping and the environment but it's fine, you easily know where you are. I haven't encountered any real bugs so far. The pacing may be odd sometimes, alternating between long quiet zones and fighing areas but I do appreciate the time to explore and run around - even though I wanna kick more asses. As for the aesthetics, I really love the art direction and the setting. From a 3D environment artist POV, I find it very refreshing and it fits the game's identity really well. The level design has just enough verticality to make you want to explore and run around. It's not always clear what is breakable or lootable but you get used to identifying them afterwads. I haven't had that much trouble with visual clarity but we only played as two. The UI and FX are very nice as well. Two minor things I've noticed : it wasn't clear at first when you choose a character that you're only choosing a different appearance and not a skill set that could be different depending on the chosen character - and it took us a while to figure out what were "GEARS". The game is very promising, it does leave you wanting more but I don't think that's a bad thing. I also get the feeling that the environment and level design are gonna evolve the more you play and progress (I could be wrong ?), I am intringued to see what comes next !
Very much enjoying this so far. Will be playing more soon. Dev seems to have good ideas for improvement and it’s only the start of early access
I’ve only played around one hour so far. Fun game, I like the buffs that change the game mechanics. Will definitely play this more and with some friends later.
OMG! Stop reading this and go buy this game! Fantastic art style! Incredible world building! Smooth as silk controls with a controller! Hugely relpayable! Awesome combat! Fun stealth kills! Get it!
I get heavy Meet the Feebles vibes and thats great, maybe that the devs could have leaned more into it (not needed just something i would have enjoyed even more). Gameplay is fun, at the moment it's rather short but more will be added during EA i hope for more then one biome and two bosses. I also hope they add a more clear and deeper progression system for those that want to deepdive (like more rerolls so forth to be able to build more in the way you want). Love the gore and theme/style. Solid EA start.
Good game but you should fix bugs
