Around Us : Zombie Shooter

I just discovered it and I love it! A fun game to play with buddies >< Relaxxx. there were a lot of zombies O__o yepp getting new weapons is entertaining too Lol.

The game is a lot of fun - especially with friends! And it gets better with every update. :-)

A rare local co-op game for 6 players. I had a great time playing with my nephew and niece. For some reason, they really love zombie games. As the only adult playing with four kids, I had to find games that support more than 4 local players, and this game is a perfect fit. The zombies are super cute, too. The game has now added support for more localized languages, allowing me, as a native Chinese speaker, to better understand the game's content.

Very funny indie game with different zombies & bosses, a lot of weapons and upgrades, also it's cross platform multiplayer currently available on PC and mobile (Android). And last but not least, it can run on every PC!

(Updated for Patch 1.3.6) Gameplay ========================= Around Us is an extremely fun game that offers a cooperative experience fighting zombies to fend off waves and upgrading weapons and characters in the rogue-like setting. Me an my family have played it in an offline local coop setting. We initially played the demo and got hooked on its intuitive gameplay (which enabled my younger siblings to play it) and great progression system. The balance for the difficulty of the waves and its progression feels on-spot that immediately made me want to buy the whole game. Bugs ========================= After I posted a thread regarding a major bug, the developers quickly addressed the issue (https://steamcommunity.com/app/2437950/discussions/0/6450905019305808768/). Me and my siblings played the new patch and the bug was fixed. This enabled us to play the game more and enjoy it at its fullest. Other bugs that I have found and posted have also been fixed. No other bugs were found. Replayability ========================= Around Us is extremely replayable. Having different difficulties and two maps to try out, players can easily spend hours battling hordes of zombies due to the smooth progression of the game. Quality of Life, Suggestions, and Other comments ========================= The design of the game is very minimalistic and cute, along with the color and eye look options. The audio of the sound also feels fun and cute. I think that there is an opportunity in extending the aesthetic features in the game. All of us enjoyed having to pick different styles in each run. One thing that my sibling experienced during the gameplay was frustration coming from the interruption of the game flow from the upgrades of leveling up. She suggested that it should maybe be placed at the end of the wave to prevent it from ruining the tempo/flow of the game. As for me, I am not that bothered with the interruption of the upgrades as it also allows a pause for the game and some "saving grace" aspect to it. Maybe there is some way to accommodate both preferences or a balance for the different types of preference. Conclusion ========================= The game enables its audience to feel the intended experience of having fun killing zombies, progressing through waves, getting upgrades and getting stronger. I wish for more updates for Around Us with the great 'feel' and experience that it offers. Looking forward for more maps, more weapons, and more baddies to fight. This is a game that I would definitely recommend.

Around Us is an interactive multiplayer zombie game that is fun to play friends and alone solo, A great time killer with a grind wave survival play-style with many upgrades. A fun experience, Would recommend.
