Reviews
Pretty good top-down rogue-lite. Sound design, visuals, and gameplay are all pretty good. The game has that standard "brutal until rewarding" style of difficulty you expect from a rogue-lite. There is a assist mode for players without the time or ability to get through the game normally, which is a good tool to include in a genre that, wrongly sometimes, emphasizes difficulty as a feature.
Masterpiece of roguelike!

For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Poland over the last 30 days: the 21 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 12 places towards #1, and the 2,501 moves with no price cut behind them went 1 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

Curse of the Dead Gods is a dark, thrilling roguelike action game that plunges players into a sinister world teeming with deadly traps, grotesque monsters, and ancient curses. Developed by Passtech Games, it masterfully combines fast-paced combat with deep customization and an unforgiving dungeon crawl atmosphere. From the moment you step into its twisted temples, the game grips you with its atmospheric tension, challenging gameplay, and an intricate risk-reward system that keeps every run fresh and intense. The core gameplay revolves around exploration and combat within procedurally generated dungeons filled with peril at every turn. Players control a cursed adventurer delving into the depths of a dark temple, seeking riches and power but constantly battling both external threats and the internal threat of curses. The combat is fluid and responsive, emphasizing precise timing, dodging, and chaining together attacks to maximize damage. With a variety of melee weapons at your disposal—from swift daggers to heavy maces—each weapon type offers a distinct playstyle and strategic opportunities. Additionally, ranged options and special abilities provide tactical depth, allowing you to adapt to different enemy patterns and environments. One of the most compelling features of Curse of the Dead Gods is its curse system, which adds a unique twist to the typical roguelike formula. As players venture deeper into the temple, they accumulate curses that impose penalties such as health degeneration, increased enemy damage, or impaired vision. However, these curses come with a strategic choice: accepting more curses grants you greater rewards in the form of enhanced loot and experience, forcing players to balance risk and reward carefully. This mechanic creates a constant tension where greed and survival instincts collide, enriching the gameplay loop and encouraging experimentation with different strategies to mitigate or exploit these curses. Visually, the game impresses with its dark, moody art style that captures the oppressive atmosphere of the cursed temples perfectly. The environments are richly detailed, from ancient stone corridors slick with moss and blood to ominous chambers filled with flickering torches and unsettling statues. Enemies are grotesque and varied, designed with a macabre creativity that keeps encounters unpredictable and visually engaging. The animations are smooth and fluid, particularly in combat, where the dynamic movements of your character and enemies contribute to an immersive and visceral experience. The audio design complements the visuals perfectly, with haunting ambient sounds and a tense musical score that amplifies the feeling of lurking danger. Combat sounds are sharp and impactful, emphasizing weapon strikes and enemy roars in a way that heightens the intensity of battles. These audio cues also serve as important gameplay signals, helping players anticipate attacks or environmental hazards, which is critical in a game where reaction time is often the difference between life and death. Progression in Curse of the Dead Gods is rewarding and layered, with a wide range of unlockables, including new weapons, upgrades, and passive abilities that persist between runs. This meta-progression system gives players a sense of long-term growth, encouraging repeated playthroughs and mastery of the game’s mechanics. The loot system is varied and deep, offering numerous artifacts, potions, and relics that can dramatically alter your playstyle or turn the tide in difficult encounters. Customizing your build to fit your preferred combat style, whether it’s aggressive melee or careful ranged attacks, adds significant replay value. Despite its many strengths, the game’s difficulty can be punishing, especially for newcomers. The combination of relentless enemies, traps, and accumulating curses creates a steep learning curve. Some players might find the frequent deaths frustrating, but these moments are generally well-balanced with opportunities to learn and improve. The procedural nature of the dungeons means no two runs are exactly alike, which mitigates repetition but can sometimes lead to unpredictable difficulty spikes or less-than-ideal loot drops. Overall, Curse of the Dead Gods stands out in the roguelike genre for its compelling blend of tactical combat, atmospheric storytelling, and innovative curse mechanics. It successfully creates a dark, immersive world that challenges players to think carefully about every move while delivering thrilling, fast-paced action. For fans of challenging roguelikes who enjoy a rich, moody setting and deep customization, this game offers a richly rewarding experience that combines brutality with strategic depth. It’s a punishing but fair test of skill and decision-making that will keep players coming back to uncover the secrets lurking in the shadows. Rating: 8/10

Joguei 90 horas? SIm Recomendo? Não. Não vale a pena zerar, a progressão desse jogo é EXTREMAMENTE dependente do RNG. É mecanicamente bom, então jogue até o primeiro ciclo (Normal) do templo, o resto é só reciclagem.
