This is one of the best and most creative games I've ever played. There are some physics-related bugs here and there and I had to cut short one run in which the amount of blood (caused by stacking of a particular memento) made the performance to drop to sub-frame-a-second levels, but that happens when you're really going nuts into a NG+4 run or so.

250hours in. I think I have beaten it ? Maybe one more world + or perhaps even world reset again ? Solo dev btw. After 250h I still cannot figure out the spider AI !!?! Is it gonna jump or is it not? For 1000th time it jumps when I do not expect it. So now we just dash into the swarm of spiders and accept the outcome regardless of damage taken or given, because that is what gods wanted. So many builds, so many memories. Have I ever dropped so much XP from a boss at some point that it lagged out the game so much that I had 1 frame per 10 seconds ? Yes. Did I have to suffer through 2h of real time just to recover this run and collect enough xp to stop lagging? also yes. Or Have I ever had my weapon upgraded so much that I was one-shotting anything even in World 3+ ? Yes. Did I die also in one shot in Wrold 4+ ? You know it. Regrets? None. Builds to try out. (Spoilers ?) Misanthrope shiv stealth build - big numbers, close and personal. Explorer - anything goes. Strongest char in the game as you can get infinite maps, dungeon in a dungeon in a dungeon... Tyrant - summoner ( you heal allies with surge) anything with magic, Priest, Cultist ... if you get stuff for magic, it can be crazy good. Tips I wished I would know when I started. The LESS you know about this game, the MORE fun it is. --------------------- with this knowledge stop reading or continue---------------- If you take dmg you get yellow hp bar which goes away in a bit. if you heal, you heal for yellow amount + heal amount. Allies can be healed with Surges. Shops shows what will be on sale/buy in the next shop, so you can stock up and make $$$ Spells have random chance to break if you have no mana. You can overcast it (0mana) and still be good after several casts Some upgrades are flat = +10% dmg or incremental = +1% on kill. This is your potential to find out which ones. Not every upgrade will help you. Some will make you do alsmost 0 dmg, some will kill you eventually, some will lagg out your game ( too much blood or xp on the screen). If you are doing the fire puzzle in the dungeon and have no fire-enchant or fireball. Set yourself on fire in next room and lit up the thing Teleporting is like snowball fight. It is fun untill someone meets a stone. Pay attention to the candles at the bosses altairs. some bosses love/hate different deeds if you are getting lost in the map progression , There is a guide for it TLDR: it is worth the money even at full price. You will get your fun worth, if you like the pixel style shown in the trailer. Gameplay is sick and suprisingly not that repetative as you have SO MUCH to discover and desypher. *insert potato here*
拥有独特的游玩体验,怪诞的邪作

QUICK SUMMARY: The most apt review for this game I can give is it's very clearly the dev's first project. Made with love but flawed in the fundamental aspects of what makes a game fun. Such as: - Worldbuilding and lore are surprisingly deep, with a huge map to boot. But with a temperamental stamina bar slowing you down and a ticking clock of a hunger bar, its absolutely zero fun to navigate. - Both the enemy and weapon variety are very impressive, so there's a lot to uncover. But an extremely cumbersome stamina bar tied with a TEAR-JERKINGLY slow weapon swing speed means combat WAY too clunky to get any real joy out of. - There's a quite long list of items to keep your runs spiced up. But having to buy almost every single one in addition to descriptions of them being deliberately withheld until you pick them up enough times leaves a bad taste in my mouth. Plus both they and the weapon upgrades are extremely expensive, so it can lead to lacking on one front or the other. which wouldnt be an issue if the enemy health didnt increase at the rate it does, leading to you getting absolutely eclipsed under their inflated health pools as you hit them with pool noodles. I love the game and plan to keep playing it, but I just can't recommend anyone else pick it up.
