El sistema de combate es finísimo y las mecánicas de luz molan mucho. Pero el juego me odia y las maldiciones se aseguran de que no llegue ni a la esquina. Engancha, aunque sea un suplicio

For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 23 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 14 places towards #1, and the 2,515 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

This is a solid game: well designed; no fluff. I agree with some of the criticisms, namely the issues of healer/spawner elites that drag the game out, especially in the later couple of levels. But the boss fights are enjoyable without holding your hand or requiring you to be perfect (close to perfect sure, but there is room for a hit or two). It's a refined game that I would recommend to fans of the genre.
ONE OF MY FAVORITE GAMES
Personally, this is easily one of my favorite games.
COMBAT AND STAMINA MANAGEMENT
The combat system is amazing, and I honestly don’t think there’s another game that does it this well. Everything feels responsive, satisfying, and, most importantly, very readable. Combat never turns into mindless attack spamming, mainly thanks to the stamina system. It feels much more deliberate than something like Hades, whose combat I personally never found particularly good. Being able to cancel most attack animations works well only because of how stamina is handled. If you could constantly attack and dodge without any cost, the combat would quickly become spammy. Here, stamina limits how much you can do and punishes you for using it carelessly. I also really like that the stamina indicator appears in world space next to the character. You can always see it without having to constantly look at the regular UI.
BOSSES AND WEAPON BALANCE
The bosses are pretty good and definitely challenging. Beating them feels really satisfying once you finally learn their movesets. The game gives you a lot of weapons to play around with, but this is also where its biggest problem becomes apparent. During longer runs, especially on higher difficulty levels, the supposedly large weapon pool realistically gets reduced to only a few weapons and combinations that remain consistently useful. Some combinations are also way too overpowered, like using claws and a revolver for an offhand-combo playstyle. With that setup, the final boss becomes ridiculously easy and basically spends most of the fight standing there doing nothing.
RUN ECONOMY AND PLAYER CHOICE
The game’s economy is really well designed. I like that you can choose whether to pay with gold or blood, and that you can either pick up an item or offer it as a sacrifice. You have a lot of control over how you want to approach each run, which is a huge positive.
THEME, STORY AND PRESENTATION
I think the Aztec theme is fairly generic, but it works really well with the gameplay mechanics, especially the sacrifices and curses. There is basically no storytelling here. I don’t expect much of it from a roguelite, and I’d still much rather have a game with great combat and gameplay than one with a weak story. Still, the game is divided into two separate progression trees, and I think this structure was a missed opportunity. The first tree could have served as a proper story mode, giving some context to the character, temples, bosses, curses, and the world itself. After completing it, the second tree could then become the actual roguelite mode, focused entirely on challenge, replayability, and experimenting with different builds, without the need for traditional storytelling. This way, the game could have offered some form of narrative without forcing it into the part that players are expected to replay over and over again. Everything is extremely readable, both visually and in terms of audio. You always know what’s happening on the screen. And when you get your ass kicked, you know it was your own fault.
CONTROLLER RECOMMENDED
I definitely recommend playing it with a controller. On keyboard and mouse, it just doesn’t feel the same, especially when it comes to swapping between weapons, which feels much smoother and more natural on a gamepad.

FINAL VERDICT
Definitely recommended. Especially since you can often grab it on sale for just a few dollars.
More than worth the price. Very fun, snappy combat, and plenty to do.
