For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 23 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 14 places towards #1, and the 2,515 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

If you’re looking for Hades 1; with arguably more interesting combat, but also with zero charm or personality; you’re in luck I guess. Combat is enhanced through the stamina system, which puts a limited resource to dodging and performing certain attacks, so you can’t infinitely spam dash attacks like in Hades. Combat also puts more emphasis on nailing timing on perfect parries and dodges, which restores stamina. All well and good, but when combat and excessive walking through same-y trapped corridors is pretty much all you do in-game, it gets pretty old very quickly Really not a fan of the repetitive run structure, instead of being able to attempt to complete the whole temple, the main run is locked behind having to do runs with 1 boss of 3 different colors, then run with 2 bosses of each of the 3 different colors, before you have access to the full 3 boss randomized run. In both Hades 1 & 2, the motivation of the MC is established pretty much immediately; In CotDG, I had to look up the wiki because the game doesn’t explain jack sh*t about character[strike]s[/strike] (only the MC, really), the temples in general, or the various (9) bosses you fight. Where Hades has you interact with side characters, the MC interacting with bosses even, CoTDG has nothing to do between runs in-game and a mute protagonist. CoTDG really highlights the importance of “vibes” in a game, because it is non-existent in this one; gameplay and art direction alone isn’t enough for games to engage for an extended period of time.
