About
Cronos: The New Dawn is a brutal third-person survival horror where you fight for the future by salvaging the past. Burn monsters before they merge. Extract souls from the living. Adapt or die.

Set in a grim world where Eastern European brutalism meets retro-futurist technology, Cronos: The New Dawn lets you experience a gripping story that straddles the line between past and future.
In the past, you will witness a world in the throes of The Change, a cataclysmic event that forever altered humanity. Meanwhile, in the ravaged wastelands of the future, every moment is a fight for survival against dangerous abominations that will test both your reflexes and your tactical thinking.
You are a Traveler working for the enigmatic Collective, tasked with scouring the wastelands of the future in search of time rifts that will transport you to 1980s-era Poland.

In a desolate world filled with ever-present danger, your survival hinges on your ability to strategize and plan ahead. The enemies you’ll encounter are nightmarish creatures, born from the remnants of humanity – defeating them will require you to make full use of your arsenal.
You can manipulate temporal Anomalies to clear a path through the desolate environment, and will have to scavenge for resources to replenish your limited ammo and supplies. Good preparation is key. Once in battle, split-second decisions can mean the difference between life
and death.
The creatures you kill won’t stay dead for long. Fallen enemies can be absorbed by others — through a grotesque process called Merging — to become faster, tougher, and far deadlier.
The only way to stop them? Burn their bodies. And do it fast.
If you don’t, you’ll face ever-evolving abominations that will push your combat skills to their limits.

Your mission is to locate key people from the past who perished in the ensuing apocalypse. Using your all-powerful Harvester, you can extract their Essences and have them accompany you into the future.
But be wary: these essences have a profound impact on your journey.
The more you carry, the more haunted your suit becomes — increasing your prowess on the battlefield but also bringing with them whispers in your ear and flickers into your vision, edging you ever closer to madness.

Juegaso, lo disfrute mucho, recomendado, te vuela la cabeza con la historia, 10/10
6/10 Cronos aims for Dead Space, but doesn't quite reach those heights. The enemy design is a little run-of-the-mill, and variety is lacking. Some of the enemies and level design are also frustrating where they will hide enemies that are fixed to walls so as soon as you come around a corner, they jump you into a quick time event. The difficulty is tuned just slightly too high with resources being more scarce in the first half of the game than they should be. Movement is slow and sluggish, and I found myself getting stuck on the environment numerous times and needing to reload. The game is extremely atmospheric and the overall combat is okay. The story teeters the line between interesting and convoluted - especially towards the end. It's a decent game if you are looking for a third-person survival horror and have already played some of the other bigger names. But I would recommend waiting until you see it for $20-$30.
I will preface by saying that I will certainly skeptical of how Blooper was going to pull off an original IP release given their track record, even though I had played and enjoyed their take on Silent Hill 2 as a remake. That being said, they did nail it with this one. I only played this once, and looked up what I had missed out on since this game has multiple endings(there are 3 in total). I will not spoil them here, as I suggest you playthrough the game once and see for yourself if you wish to play it again to obtain the other endings. You have to beat NG+ to get the third ending though, which may not be difficult since the game carries over all your upgrades(suit, guns and throwables included) so its as much of a drag as you'd think.
4.5/5
I woke up last night, and the travelers they were there, standing asking me why I haven't logged in. So I logged in to finish this game. They told me to buy the dlc when it comes out too.
Baaaaaaaaaaardzo dobra. Polacy ostatnio nie zawodzą, jeżeli chodzi o gry. Za to deweloperzy zawodzą ostatnio z optymalizowaniem gier i dziwnym trafem, bardzo często jest to gra robiona na UE5 🤔
very nice a gem of a game
good game.
So I haven't played Bloober SH2 remake. This caught my eye though. It is a mix between dead space and resident evil. It is designed quite linear, which I count as a plus these days. First playthrough will take you a good amount of time and second playthrough (to get other ending) will take less time as its pretty scripted when enemies appear and you know where all the stuff is and puzzles to solve. Not like Deadspace as with the randomness elements implemented. Gameplay is good. It works. No fancy dodging or counters, just simple positioning and gunplay. The gun selection can feel a little underwhelming but the main gun charge shot its satisfying to use. Creature variation is not too creative, you see a lot of the same designs in creatures and bosses. Story and atmosphere is well done though. Puzzle elements can get tedious after the first playthrough. Inventory can be annoying but if you don't equipped all guns and use the right upgrade paths, it it fine. It runs alright. Not great but not outright awful. TBF I only have a 4060ti 8GB, but I did use upscaling and frame generation too achieve a stable framerate above 70fps at 1440p. I had no technical bug encounters and no crashes during my two playthroughs. Overall I do recommend. You will comfortably get two fun playthroughs with this game. The difficulty on hard wasn't too bad on new game +, no difference really as you are upgraded from your last playthrough. Looking forward to the DLC.
Dead Space goes Resident Evil 4; this game is amazing.
