About
Cronos: The New Dawn is a brutal third-person survival horror where you fight for the future by salvaging the past. Burn monsters before they merge. Extract souls from the living. Adapt or die.

Set in a grim world where Eastern European brutalism meets retro-futurist technology, Cronos: The New Dawn lets you experience a gripping story that straddles the line between past and future.
In the past, you will witness a world in the throes of The Change, a cataclysmic event that forever altered humanity. Meanwhile, in the ravaged wastelands of the future, every moment is a fight for survival against dangerous abominations that will test both your reflexes and your tactical thinking.
You are a Traveler working for the enigmatic Collective, tasked with scouring the wastelands of the future in search of time rifts that will transport you to 1980s-era Poland.

In a desolate world filled with ever-present danger, your survival hinges on your ability to strategize and plan ahead. The enemies you’ll encounter are nightmarish creatures, born from the remnants of humanity – defeating them will require you to make full use of your arsenal.
You can manipulate temporal Anomalies to clear a path through the desolate environment, and will have to scavenge for resources to replenish your limited ammo and supplies. Good preparation is key. Once in battle, split-second decisions can mean the difference between life
and death.
The creatures you kill won’t stay dead for long. Fallen enemies can be absorbed by others — through a grotesque process called Merging — to become faster, tougher, and far deadlier.
The only way to stop them? Burn their bodies. And do it fast.
If you don’t, you’ll face ever-evolving abominations that will push your combat skills to their limits.

Your mission is to locate key people from the past who perished in the ensuing apocalypse. Using your all-powerful Harvester, you can extract their Essences and have them accompany you into the future.
But be wary: these essences have a profound impact on your journey.
The more you carry, the more haunted your suit becomes — increasing your prowess on the battlefield but also bringing with them whispers in your ear and flickers into your vision, edging you ever closer to madness.

really enjoyed it. a blend of resident evil and deadspace, the graphics are great, gameplay really intense and claustrophobic. The atmosphere is spot on, very creepy. you constantly need to manage your ammo and inventory, every bullet counts. The story is a bit hazy, but very interesting (I watched videos to understand..). only downside is save mechanism, i had few times I had to repeat whole parts due to dying, which was frustrating. had one crash during early part of the game, but never had any issues since
This game's atmosphere hits like crack. I never felt so much tense just by walking around.
un gameplay quasi identique à RE 4, un mélange de the calisto protocol et dead space avec une touche de voyage temporelle. vivement le DLC A faire
gta 6
прошел всю игру со стартовым пистолетом
grab it on sale, good game and i think the story is pretty solid but its just dead space with resident evil inventory and crafting, your character is slow as a rock which i mean rightfully so as you have a whole spaceman suit on, enemy variety is ehh but they look cool. Their attack patterns are slow and easily dodge-able you only really get in trouble if there are multiple enemies coming at you because you have to use charge shots if you want to do any damage and not waste your ammo so you're stuck in an animation everytime you want to shoot, the gravity walking and reverse time thing is a pretty cool concept that makes this game differ from dead space and silent hill, (also made by bloober team) but otherwise its your typical third person horror/survival
Обязательно к прохождению поклонникам Dead Space и Resident Evil и разочаровавшихся в Callisto Protocol. Сам прошёл игру с удовольствием, сейчас пошёл на НГ+.
interesante
Dead Space goes Resident Evil 4; this game is amazing.
So I haven't played Bloober SH2 remake. This caught my eye though. It is a mix between dead space and resident evil. It is designed quite linear, which I count as a plus these days. First playthrough will take you a good amount of time and second playthrough (to get other ending) will take less time as its pretty scripted when enemies appear and you know where all the stuff is and puzzles to solve. Not like Deadspace as with the randomness elements implemented. Gameplay is good. It works. No fancy dodging or counters, just simple positioning and gunplay. The gun selection can feel a little underwhelming but the main gun charge shot its satisfying to use. Creature variation is not too creative, you see a lot of the same designs in creatures and bosses. Story and atmosphere is well done though. Puzzle elements can get tedious after the first playthrough. Inventory can be annoying but if you don't equipped all guns and use the right upgrade paths, it it fine. It runs alright. Not great but not outright awful. TBF I only have a 4060ti 8GB, but I did use upscaling and frame generation too achieve a stable framerate above 70fps at 1440p. I had no technical bug encounters and no crashes during my two playthroughs. Overall I do recommend. You will comfortably get two fun playthroughs with this game. The difficulty on hard wasn't too bad on new game +, no difference really as you are upgraded from your last playthrough. Looking forward to the DLC.
