About
Cronos: The New Dawn is a brutal third-person survival horror where you fight for the future by salvaging the past. Burn monsters before they merge. Extract souls from the living. Adapt or die.

Set in a grim world where Eastern European brutalism meets retro-futurist technology, Cronos: The New Dawn lets you experience a gripping story that straddles the line between past and future.
In the past, you will witness a world in the throes of The Change, a cataclysmic event that forever altered humanity. Meanwhile, in the ravaged wastelands of the future, every moment is a fight for survival against dangerous abominations that will test both your reflexes and your tactical thinking.
You are a Traveler working for the enigmatic Collective, tasked with scouring the wastelands of the future in search of time rifts that will transport you to 1980s-era Poland.

In a desolate world filled with ever-present danger, your survival hinges on your ability to strategize and plan ahead. The enemies you’ll encounter are nightmarish creatures, born from the remnants of humanity – defeating them will require you to make full use of your arsenal.
You can manipulate temporal Anomalies to clear a path through the desolate environment, and will have to scavenge for resources to replenish your limited ammo and supplies. Good preparation is key. Once in battle, split-second decisions can mean the difference between life
and death.
The creatures you kill won’t stay dead for long. Fallen enemies can be absorbed by others — through a grotesque process called Merging — to become faster, tougher, and far deadlier.
The only way to stop them? Burn their bodies. And do it fast.
If you don’t, you’ll face ever-evolving abominations that will push your combat skills to their limits.

Your mission is to locate key people from the past who perished in the ensuing apocalypse. Using your all-powerful Harvester, you can extract their Essences and have them accompany you into the future.
But be wary: these essences have a profound impact on your journey.
The more you carry, the more haunted your suit becomes — increasing your prowess on the battlefield but also bringing with them whispers in your ear and flickers into your vision, edging you ever closer to madness.

collectable cats are the best collectable i have ever seen in a video game. i will save all the cats
"Dead Space: The 80s Earth Shattered Edition" This feels like Dead Space met Cronos in a bar and was like "you know what you should do.." and then it dawn on them, why space.. if you can do it at home. It very much feels the same, in so many aspects, the eerie environments, the slow heavy walking and battle, the enemies that are made out of stuff of nightmares and so on, but in in a nutshell, if you like Dead Space, then you will love this game, but more in detail. The Story. Usualy I say, it alright, or you know it's interesting and so on.. this one tho.. it's mind bending, it's good, but it does make your brain flip around more than usual. Why so.. well - Time Travel, yes this aspect always will mess with your head, as it does in this game. Without going into too much detail, you will start off knowing nothing, you will end the game.. knowing.. just a bit more leaving most of it to interpretation, that in my opinion is a rather good thing, when you have to peace the events together and kind of think of it all. Now the only issue is.. if you think about all of the story once you finish the game, you can see a lot of plotholes, as it would be with time travel involved. As the story goes you are a "Traveler" working for something called the "Collective" and you have to find another one like you, who has well perished and keep the mission going. The mission, well the base line of the story is that some kind of plage has emerged in 1980s, taking the lives of almost everyone in Poland, not only taking the lives, but also mutating the people in abominations, so you as a traveler have to find the reason for it all, for you have the power to travel back in the past to gather intel, in this case the minds of specific people, like actually digging in their heads and extracting the information from them. As you play you can choose whos consciousness you keep and discard as you only have room for three (they also give you passive perks), but the down side is, that what every choice you make, it will not effect the end, now that is kind of something that could for merged in the story more. The Gameplay. As mentioned before, very Dead Space like. The heavy suit making you walk at slower pace, the angry stomps and punches to the weapon shots, it all feel like good old Isaac, of course in this case your the ND-3576. Now you can't change the suit (only as a cosmetic thing), but you can upgrade it, to make you live longer, have more inventory space and such. When it comes to weapons you have three types to go for, each type has a different variation so in total you have six arms and one special to choose from, each weapon works in a different way and can be upgraded in basic ways, like firepower, reload speed and so on. So you do have a variety of weapons to engage your enemies in way you see fit, becouse you will not be able to take all of your arms with you, just a few for the inventory space is limited. With that we step into the part of survival, as you will have to manage what upgrades and what things to pick up, as you will start off with just a small inventory and in this game, every bullet does count, especially if you start off with the normal difficulity. Besides that you will have extra tools to help you along the way, that are all fire based, this is a important aspect of the game, as you will have to burn dead enemies if you wish to have a better chance of survival. One of the things I could not get use to, was the fact that your character is immune to fire, in this game, a very useful thing. That leads to the enemies, there are not too many in variation, but the most interesting thing is, that they can absorb other dead bodies and acquire their power and mutate something new like, more armor, acid projectiles and so on, so leaving too many bodies around and letting them absorb everything can be deadly, so.. burn the dead. Combat it self feel solid, every encounter is thought out, if you use the environment to your advantage, be in the right spot and use the provided barrels and such, you will most likely not use too much ammo and loose a lot less health. Environment. Visually this game look very good, a bit too damanding on my little war machine, but even on the lower setttings it looks very nice. It's a very bleak and dark world, every area will be like a dungeon with not much light in it, but very so often there are beautiful landmarks and very cinematic views and landscapes, so it's well crafted for you to not only enjoy the survival, but the sight seeing as well. Besides that, the events are in the 80s in Poland, so lot of the things in the enviorment have been dropped in from that time, as I have seen most of the things like that in life, it was nice to see them in the game as well like the tram, when I got into that I was like "yup, just like back in the day", but the aesthetic of it all, the music and sound and all parts of that are on point. Conclusion So with all that combined, the mind twisting story with the survial gamplay makes this game stand next to Dead Space and brings it's own Identity to it. Hope to see more of "Cronos" in the future.. or past.. time travel after all.

14 of 15 markets; the rest we haven't asked for this title, not markets where it is unavailable.
14 on sale1 answered “not sold”0 we did not ask
The 1 “not sold” market is read from the Steam price pass of Aug 31: that day the store answered for this game elsewhere and gave no price there. The 14 priced markets are the same rows as the table above — each the latest price we hold, dated here when it is older than that pass. The 0 marked “not asked” were not put to this store at all — either it has no storefront there or we do not collect it yet, and neither is a statement about the game. A refusal is a refusal on one day; a store can list a title again tomorrow.

For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 24 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 9 places towards #1, and the 2,404 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

简单难度体验很好,没有弹药问题,打起来很爽,环境气氛不错,但其实也没有特别突出的亮点
Tl;dr: Confusing story but pretty good survival horror. Pros: + Great atmosphere + Good weapon variety, charged shots felt good + Soundtrack and ambient sounds were awesome + Voice acting was decent + Body horror was pretty good Cons: - Bolt cutter gimmick was unnecessary and tedious - Lame protagonist. probably due to involvement from woke consultant company Hit Detection - There was no reason to upgrade flamer fuel - Felt like there should have been a defensive move/item or at least a quick turn around - Needed a mod to improve performance (ultimate engine tweaks on nexus) - Confusing story Closing Thoughts: I waited for this to go on a good sale (got it for $25 on instant gaming) because I didn't care for their SH2 remake but this looked interesting. I never played Dead Space so I can't compare. Enjoyed it overall and might check out the upcoming DLC. On the bolt cutter mechanic: it serves no purpose because every door with a chain is not far from a stash. So you come across the door, run to stash and get bolt cutters, run back to door and unlock it, run back to stash and put away bolt cutters. Same with the flamer fuel, you get them free at save rooms. Also, if you decide to use the Elster mod to swap out the protagonist model, be aware that it crashes the game toward the end and you'll have to switch out. Otherwise worked great for the rest.
It's an early RE clone, not a Dead Space clone. With very samey visuals.
Highly recommended if you played dead space! 9/10
8.5 out of 10 A fantastic horror game held back by a few frustrating design choices. Overall I had a great time with this game, That said I do believe this game could of EASILY have been a 10/10. To keep my complaints short and to the point, The lack of a map. I found the lack of map more frustrating than I found it to make the game more "Difficult". The lack of save points or suspend save was frustrating especially when I would be lost some where in the map and needed to stop playing but could NOT save. (not everyone can leave their pcs or console's running.) Another Annoyance was the Translation in the game. ESPECIALLY the hospital area. I found myself having to get within inches of a sign for it to translate eventually... The Boss fights I found to be a mixed bag. Several of them had mechanics that weren't communicated well. Forcing me to look up guides just to understand how I COULD actually beat them. Challenging bosses are GREAT but the solution should come from the game itself, not google. The gore at times was a bit over done and I do understand that was part of the process of this "virus" and I understand that was what the game was going for aesthetic wise but the sheer amount of blood, flesh, veins, vessels etc on the walls, floors and ceilings was definitely a bit too much overall to my liking. The voice acting and Motion capture acting. WHAT WAS THAT AT TIMES?! It went from pretty solid to OG RE1 Levels of bad acting and performances...left me a bit stunned and confused at times to how a new Triple A game could have this kind of BAD quality acting and performance. If they had put just a bit more effort into their overall performances I feel that would've made this game EASILY 10X BETTER! Last criticism/ SPOILER ALERT DO NOT READ PAST THIS POINT IF YOU DONT WANT SPOILERS! But Weronikas overall demise and ending. I hate that despite playing both outcomes theres not a SINGLE good ending for her. and made all the effort and some what emotional attachment i had to these characters feel like it was in vain with no pay off... So despite ALL of those criticisms. I had a LOT of fun. and I did find the story VERY intriguing and leaving me wanting to know more about what happens next. if they would fix all of those issues, then the next game would easily be something more special!
游戏背景,美术,恐怖感拉满。迫使我放生鼠标好几次QAQ,不过优化确实拉跨,掉帧严重。如果忽略优化问题感觉能到8/10这样。
Great survival horror up until the last boss fight. In fact, all of the boss fights are frustratingly bad but the last one takes the biscuit. These clunky game mechanics just do not work during the boss fights. The game NEEDS a dodge mechanic or a combat rebalance. BTW it's not a skill issue, It's a 'I can't be bothered wasting my time with this crap' issue. Once again, Bloober Team come close to making a classic and then fumble it.
Cronos: The New Dawn foi uma experiência bem positiva pra mim. É aquele tipo de jogo que te prende e te mantém interessado o tempo todo. A ambientação é bem feita e ajuda bastante a entrar no clima do jogo, deixando tudo mais imersivo durante a gameplay.
