If you loved the Crash Bandicoot games from Playstation 1-2...than this is a must have.
Very simple and easy. My other games started crashing after I downloaded this so I deleted it and requested a refund but it really was far too easy. I like these types of games to offer some sort of challenge but this was clearly made for kids.
As a completionist not loads of fun. Maybe I'll come back some day, but for now there are more fun games to complete.
obviously if you are a fan of crash, buy it
This is a great remake/remaster of the original games, unfortunately, that also means they've recreated a lot of the weird quirks and 90s 3d platformer feel. The game looks great, I love the visuals and the aesthetics, the music is so nostalgic, and it's fun seeing all the characters in such high quality. The vehicle sections in Crash 3 were surprisingly fun, did not expect it! Sadly though, it's a little too faithful of a remake for me. The gameplay hasn't aged very well and I could really feel that it's based on PS1 games. The camera moves all over the place, the movement system is awkward, difficulty is not consistent, using a limited life system feels archaic, and the progression system is not great. I think the devs should've taken some liberties with the design and updated it to make it a bit more modern, as it is now, I can only recommend it if you really want to play Crash for the nostalgia. 6/10
Bastante divertido, recomendado.
Crash Bandicoot™ N. Sane Trilogy
is a remastered collection of the first three classic Crash Bandicoot games, originally created by Naughty Dog and remade by Vicarious Visions.
Gameplay:
Despite the modern visuals, the physics remain close to the originals (except for the jump — you can clearly notice that the jump in this remaster feels different from the original version. It seems like Crash is heavier and doesn’t jump as far). However, none of this negatively impacts the gameplay experience. It’s simply a matter of adapting and relearning how to play.
Graphics and Sound:
The visuals have been completely rebuilt, featuring modern lighting, textures, and animations while maintaining a style faithful to the original. This is one of the trilogy’s strongest points — a remake made with great care.
Difficulty:
This aspect is subjective. I didn’t find it very difficult because I remembered how the game works and several secret paths, such as collecting crates and colored gems from the PlayStation 1 era. The levels remain the same, with enemies, crates, and secrets faithfully preserved from the original version.
Content:
The content is quite interesting. They added levels that were removed from the original version and incorporated positive elements from Crash Bandicoot: Warped (such as time trials/relics) into the other two games in the franchise. This makes the experience more enjoyable and gives players more goals to achieve. Summary: If you are familiar with or enjoy this style of game, it is definitely worth giving it a try — you will have fun. For longtime players, the nostalgia combined with modern visuals will bring back great memories and allow you to relive this amazing platformer. Some people complain about the high difficulty, but this comes down to adaptation and practice — nothing that trial and error cannot overcome. I should also mention that some collisions or hitboxes may feel a bit odd, but only in specific situations — nothing too serious or game-breaking. It’s a retro classic with plenty of content that strongly reminded me of my childhood, when my cousins and I would gather on weekends to play — one would read a magazine, another would play, and we would pass the controller after each lost life.
