Fun game and all but i keep losing perk points playing coop. It`s like none of my progress is saved when I join a lobby.
The game is really fun, as someone who doesn't own CoH3 I think the price is okay, but I understand it's too high for the OG owners and they shoud've done a way higher discount. The other main complaint about the game has already been fixed, you can create your lobby or join others. It's already really fun as it stands and I hope they'll continue releasing content. I'm a bit sad it doesn't feature french or russian forces, and there should be a "random" option when selecting the enemy faction. It runs very well on max settings even when there's a lot of chaos, and it's definitely challenging if you're not a huge RTS player.

It's really fun! I like that there's a form of progression too.

Now after Relic added lobby based matchmaking I can comfortably say this game is worth it. I will start out with the negatives and if non of those are a deal breaker for you I will add what I like about this game. First off Enemy units are not really smart and they pretty much always just march forward until they meet with your defences, yes, they sometimes take a cover or set up mortars etc. at good locations, but that is prescripted and you will not see much variety in that regard. Also enemy units sometimes start making circles around, I think that is caused by a logic loop ->attack enemy (as mortar) ->enemy spoted -> player unit counters mortar -> fall back -> no enemy spoted ->attack enemy but that is easy fix and in 8 hours of playing I spotted this bug only 3 times. Meaning it is a minor bug. My second point is that this is only 2 player co-op, on one had I understand that even 3 player co-op would be a lag fest since there would be soo many units and explosions that even NASA computers would have a problem rendering the battles, but come on, even Mechabellum had 1v1v1v1 gamemode. Just let us play as 4 men squad, Relic, just give us notificcation that it might burn our computers and our house as experimental feature and let us have all low graphics options only in this game so it does not affect the base game. is it that hard to do, Relic? Also there are only 5 maps. It is acceptable since playing against different factions on the same map changes how you approach each map, but this needs more maps, a lot more maps. Speaking of maps, you got WW2 strategy set in Africa, it is "Last Stand" and there is NO TOBRUK MAP?! It is in the main game, why did you at least not port it here?! Also could have added Dunkirk map or Castle Itter. Or take it from the other side: Battle of the Halbe Pocket, or Defence of Brest or The Final Stand of the 90th Light Division. Relic could have picked soo many last stand settings and they just went with 5 imaginery maps. Again-> Come on Relic, you have enough assets to do that. My last negative is the price. Since I had COH3 20 euros was a good deal and I am satisfied with it. Much better deal than battlegroups or skins. But 30 euros? That is on the edge. Seriously. I doubt I will be able to persuade my friends to play this, even tho it is fun. Now to the positives: It is CoH game and co-op, oh How I look back on days of CoH 2 against extreme AIs that cheated their way to victory. This is similar, except for enemy AI. It does not throw granade on your units everytime you dare to look away from them, it does not have all seeing eye of Sauron to smash your backline with artillery every few seconds. It is fair and balanced game and I like that. The rogue-lite progression is also nice. Nothing complicated, just buffing you and your units over time with some interesting ways of progressing. Also in 2026 I have to add that there is no currency cost for restarting your progression tree. It lets you experiment with different perks for free. The rogue-like progression in each run is also nice I think that for the British I have seen all the options in first 5 games or so, but the game nudges you into taking different things, not just one thing every time. So the feeling of "oh f*ck, i did not get the meta unit/ability" is not really a thing. Yes there are stronger picks, definetly, but they are not gamebreaking stronger and there are no bad options either. Visualy- It is glorious. Starts out slow, but becomes bigger and bigger and more and more epic. With soo many units and explosions. It is a spectacle. Also the difficulty is well made and is hard to win, at least in the early stages of playing. That is difficulty up to Expert +3, did not play harder ones yet. Now that is all I have to say. It is a decent game, yes it was free as mod in earlier CoH games, but I am glad that relic themselves gave it a shot and made their own spin on it. It is more CoH and I like CoH. Simple as that. I give this one 7.5 out of 10 there is space for improvement. With time this could be 8.5 out of 10, with 4 player co- op it could be 9.5 out of 10. (PS:Yes, I feel like a profesional game reviewer giving this as high score as this, since the discourse seems to be pretty much negative. Yes, as you can see I agree with most of those negatives, but those are fixable.)
挺好玩的,就是价格略微贵了点儿,单就这个游戏的话如果定价低一点估计不错
