About

Company of Heroes 3: Final Stand introduces an all-new standalone wave defense experience, delivering thrilling, highly-replayable Company of Heroes gameplay. This standalone experience does not require you to own any previous Company of Heroes titles, making it easy for you to jump straight into the action and have fun, whether you’re a longtime fan or a new player.

Prepare to dig in, build layered defenses, and survive against escalating waves of enemy forces across 12 increasingly difficult rounds, including intimidating bosses and dynamic battlefield events unique to Final Stand.

Featuring a roguelite progression system, players construct a custom battlegroup from the ground up suited to their style of play. After each wave, choose between randomized units or abilities that persist for the duration of the run, ensuring that no two playthroughs feel the same.
Persistent upgrades like powerful perks and unique abilities will be unlocked between runs across faction-specific progression trees. These upgrades meaningfully change how each faction plays, encouraging experimentation, long-term mastery, and repeat play at higher levels.

Final Stand captures the classic Company of Heroes feeling of those pivotal moments where when faced with overwhelming odds, preparation, adaptability, and decisive command determine survival.

Cool wave defense gamemode with a decent amount of replayability built in; its a small shame it's getting more hate then it probably deserves. If you already own COH3, the £17 it cost me is perfectly fine, though the full price is too much for what it is. Games like Beyond all Reason have similar game modes for free, and in some aspects can offer more variety. Modding support, however, should be a must!

The price met my expectation for the simple the fact that if this were a standalone title (which it can be), many people wouldn't blink at $30. It shines at higher difficulty and in co-op primarily, so future matchmaking would be appreciated. As for gameplay: The variation you are forced into with builds is nice and can present unique problems you have to solve for that you would never face in the other game modes, and you have to use units you may not normally consider. Overall, an easy fit into a rotation of games rather than an everyday venture. It's nice to have a solid first iteration of a game mode that can receive additional content and support (workshop etc) over time.
개시발 개새끼들아 저장 안되는건 대체 무슨 병신짓꺼리야. You ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ idiots—what kind of stupid ♥♥♥♥ is this where it won't save? 게임 운영 못하는 것도 모자라서 이딴 실수를 해? 당장 안고쳐? As if you couldn't run the game properly, now you're making a mistake like this? Aren't you going to fix it right away?
Love this! After playing hundreds of hours of CoH3 it's awesome to play with the content in a totally refreshed way. The choices within the match and the progression system between matches are both simple and satisfying. I'm hoping for 4 player mode since it appears to be only 2 player atm, and always "MOAR MAPS!" Great work, Relic! Keep it up!
I really liked COH3, one of my favourite modern RTS games, I was so excited to play the Final Stand. Its the first time I ever asked for a refund on Steam. Heres what i think for anyone interested https://youtu.be/tZa7HfvEZxM?si=n_GvmyKOJmq2kOdv
(i played the final stand a lot more just says i have't i played for like 16 hours on my sunday off and for like 5 hours on the sat after my 8pm nightshift) so..its not awful BUT its not good one big thing you want to play with tanks?!? big german tanks or arty nope nope you get the random bs units that have NOTHING TO DO WITH THE PERKS YOU BEEN GETTING but there a lot more then that the upgrade you get in the upgrade tree are eh? not awful but not a lot if you could pick and bring in 1 or 2 maybe even 3 or put it so you can bring in 1 unit of you pick then make it so you can upgrade it to 2 or 3 or 4 units you pick that would make it better another thing its the SAME THING OVER AND OVER AND OVER I KNOW WHERE TO PUT MY UNITS AND SANDBAGS BEFORE THE WAVES SPAWN IN they do spawn diff units but attack in the same way over and over mid lane attacks for first 2 waves right lane 3-5 then middle and right lane then right and left lane then all 3 lanes the units its spawn is lightly diff but vary much the same and you only get 2 units you dont get to pick its get dull fast =w= like i wanna be big strong angy german boi nope the last 10 waves i got weak men no tanks or cars no arty and i am getting crushed by tanks i cant kill bc the game did't give me a better AT unit
This is a little slow to ramp up, but it's a lot of fun once you get some perks and play on hard/expert. They just need to build it out with more maps, round modifiers, etc.
EA SIMS type of DLC.... and the saddest part is - the game mode is actually good and fun... but can't be priced extra (and if it has to be done - i understand your situation Relic... then 5€ max) 20+€ for this unfinished slob is just sad... I bought every DLC... been a fan since COH2 where i bought ton of your sh1t... but this literally pushed the bar below ground.... and its so sad i say again.. cuz the mode is actually fun... get your act together.. i'm not going to refund cuz i'm a long time fan of this series.... but if you won't fix it to make up for the 20+€ spend for something that should be in the game free... then i'm not buying anymore DLCs ever again... why only 2 players in co op (maps have spawn for 3 for example) first wave is one squad of riflemen? really? Last was 5 tanks along other things... its not balanced, its not finished... but it would be fun with friendS! not A friend... fix this please.. let us believe again... I'll gladly change my review when this happens
Good fun!
