CODE VEIN II

코드베인 후속작. 코드베인 후속작이지만 전작과는 이어지는게 없으니 전작을 플레이 안했어도 플레이하는데에는 지장이 없다. 플레이어는 흡혈귀헌터가 되어 파트너인 '루'와 함께 린네를 막기 위해 봉인된 영웅을 해치운다는 내용의 게임이다. 이 게임이 엘든링에 영향을 많이 받았다고 했는데, 그래서 그런지 오픈월드에, 보스들도 엘든링을 겨냥한 듯한 디자인이 많이 보였다. 그리고 맵 보는것도 뭔가 고저 차이도 느낄 수 없어서 보는데 많이 불편했다. 그래도 전작이랑 비교했을 때, 몹의 불쾌한 배치는 많이 없어진 거 같아 필드난이도는 그렇게 높지 않은 것 같고 , 넓은 맵을 그냥 뛰어다니면 좀 불편했을 텐데 바이크를 줘서 그냥 이동할 떄는 빠르게 이동할 수 있었던 것도 좋았던 것 같다. 아 그리고 전작의 '하얀 피의 성당' 같은 그지같은 맵도 없어서 편안했었다. 하지만 전작이랑 다르게 타격감은 집나간 것 같았고, 보스전의 경우는... 재미는 있긴 했는데 전작보다 많이 쉬워진 느낌. 분명 전작에서는 정말 많이 죽었는데, 이번 코드베인2는 내가 그동안 이런 장르에 익숙해진건지 아니면 진짜 이 게임이 쉬운건지 짐작이 안되는데 아마 후자가 맞을 거 같다. 정말 쉬웠다. 보스 패턴도 단조로웠고, 스킬들이라던가 그런 조합도 잘 세우면 보스에게 큰 딜을 주기 쉽기 때문에 몇몇 보스 빼고는 그렇게 어렵지 않았다. 비슷한 난이도를 들자면... AI LIMIT이라는 소울라이크 게임이 있는데 그 게임의 보스전이랑 비슷하거나 좀 더 쉬운 느낌...? 도전과제도 그렇게 어렵지 않았고, 전작처럼 증표 30개 모으는 노가다 도과 없이 그냥 주어진대로 충실히 게임하면 100% 완료할 수 있다. 뭐 다른 건 그렇다 치고 솔직히 전작에 비해서 아쉬운 점이 많아서 비추를 누를까 고민을 했는데, 게임 자체는 그래도 재밌었던 것 같아 추천을 누른다. 특히, 후반부의 스토리와 사이드 스토리가 맛도리여서 정말 후반부는 몰입해서 하는 바람에 자야할 시간을 훨씬 뛰어넘어서까지 플레이 했으니...

I REALLY don't understand all of the negative reviews of this game... The soundtrack is AMAZING... the characters are amazing and very fleshed out especially compared to code vein 1. Although the story doesn't start off very strong, I think it ends on a very good note and it's very easy to get all the endings. The gameplay is super fun and I really enjoyed it! Although the open world aspect isn't everyone's thing, I actually really enjoyed it! The environment is so pretty to just walk around and look at. All the characters quests were very fun and made me love them all so much more. Although not many people like the gold everywhere, I'm actually a huge fan and thought it was so neat how they went about it. All the mechanics are easy to understand as well as the UI. My only cons about the game are the optimization and performance issues (which I made worse by streaming to friends), but they're not as bad as people make them out to be. Overall I am a HUGE fan of the game and can't wait for the DLC!! Thank you Code Vein 2, I can't wait for more!! ♡♡♡

No clue why people hate on this game as much as they do. With the ultimate engine tweaks mod, everything runs smooth fps wise and looks wise. The combat is much better than the first game, like WAY better. The characters are much better and more memorable too. The open world isn't even that bad to go through, even for those coming off of the first game and love for its linearity. All these bad reviews are about performance, and sure, the devs should have made it run smooth in the first place, but a literal 1 minute google search for the nexus mods fix makes the game run the way it's intended. 9/10

I'm actually digging this! I got this during the last summer sale, with the extras, after skipping it for Nioh 3 which I loved. This game isn't as good as Nioh in combat, and while the anime esk style is a bit different from the first, I still like it. However, I held off on this game due to the censorship of some costumes. I returned only when I found sufficient mods that would fix it. Otherwise, I would have ignored this game. So for 40 ish bucks, or 60 with all the extras, I think its a fun open world game. I wouldn't compare this to elden ring at all, as there is a lot more story in this one, and its not even close to bleak. I love the industrail post apocalyptic look, the weapons, and the costumes. The combat is a bit sluggish, as it seems blocks dont react as fast as they should, and enemy attacks can be spammy. The partner system helps alliviate this a bit. All in all, I feel like its worth your time if you like fashion souls and anime.

Nice game Great story and characters Great use of time travel Relatively relaxed combat so you have the freedom to try different builds like using a bayonet or using magic Also doesn't make you replay the whole game to get all the endings The open world is mostly empty but does a good job showing the desolation of the land you are in Game also gives enough resources to level up most of your gear so you aren't ever stuck Leveling up only increases your HP so you have more freedom to use souls for other things like buying items or upgrading gear Your stat distribution completely depends on what blood code you use so you can freely swap between say a strength build and a magic build at any time Gameplay is pretty fun if you go out of your way to equip some of the more fun abilities and weapons instead of just finishing the entire game with a longsword Very few games manage to deliver on their endings This one somehow did The true ending is really satisfying especially the final area and what you need to do to defeat the final boss

well i finished the game and have to say it was fun and now I'm on my second play through the only thing i really noticed is that the cutscene and some of the loading jags a little but other than that its pretty good plus my gpu sucks and processing celshade >.> so yeah

Good game

I expect to be a continue of the story from the first game, which is not, that dissapointed me but I had fun playing it and the "reworked" story is good. Do not expect to be like the first game

so i've played nearly 15 hour of this game so far the only thing that bums me out is that there is no multiplayer me and my friend really wanted to play this together but what i will say so far and i will update this review is this game is fun it's a little easier than the first game but there is a lot to do in this game and i'm not even near finishing it but i am loving the combat the story is okay at best but that's something they might improve on during the next expansion???? but so far i am very much enjoying the game and i will be recommending this to anyone who would want to play this game
