good
wunderbares spiel
I wonder if Jennifer Connelly knows she inspired one of the most influential horror games ever made. It wears its Dario Argento inspiration on its sleeve, namely Suspiria and Phenomena. The playthrough I did to get the true ending clocked in at around 2 hours which is fairly short, but i'm glad that was the case because the game is very slowly paced. While I absolutely adore the pixel artstyle and the really smooth animations, said animations tend to be very long and drawn out. This definitely slows down the game immensely and makes it a bit of a slog. The atmosphere is beautiful, the music and art direction make this go such a long way. Some scares genuinely got me even 30 years later. I'm very glad I got to experience this horror classic but I don't see myself playing it again anytime soon.
