Classic Sport Driving

I have very mixed feelings By looking on the screenshots you expect something with arcade gameplay (like outrun), but this game is much more serious. The races are too long. The menu system is terrible. The game runs on a steam deck, but you have to tweak TDP because it eats CPU.

at first it looked almost unfinished. but after a few races it grew on me.very nice, casual drive. love it. works fine on steamdeck

[h1] 忘れてしまったレトロ感性を取り戻すドライブゲーム [/h1] 本来はレースゲームだと思うんだけど、あえて[b] ドライブゲーム [/b]と称します。 アウトラン的でもありアウトランナーズ的でもありつつ、往年のレトロゲー臭がプンプンにおうコレですがご安心ください。 そのレトロドライブゲーム風味を現代風にアレンジしつつ、[b] 中身はそのまんまレトロゲーです。 [/b] それを良いと感じるか、悪いと感じるかは、これはまたプレイヤーの実年齢層に依存するものと考えられます。 リアリティを追求するなら、あえてこのゲームをやる必要は全くありません。 だって３０～４０年前のソレらと大差ないわけですから。 じゃあ何をして良しとするのか、その昔にできなかった表現力を昔のシステムのままでやってくれてるとこです。 正にそれだけです。 故にコアターゲット層は、[u] ベルトスクロールゲームに馴染みがある４０代中盤以上の方 [/u]になると考えられます。 残念ながらウイニングランやヴァーチャレーシング的なレトロを求めるプレイヤーさんは避けたほうがいいものです。 せいぜいスーパーモナコＧＰあたりまでを愛した、もしくは前述のアウトランシリーズを愛した方向けです。 [h3] コナミのハイパーラリーをご存じか？ [/h3] アウトランとかほざきながら、更に古い、しかもＭＳＸのゲームを出してくるところが実に私らしいですが、私にはこのゲームは「コナミのハイパーラリー」の焼き直し版に思えるのです。 アウトランは分岐で次コースへの動的分岐選択がありましたが、このゲームにはそういう選択が無い。 コナミのハイパーラリーには次コースの選択は皆無ですが、ゴールを目指してひたすら走破する必要がある。 止まることが許されないｗ でもまぎれもなくそのコナミのハイパーラリーのようなのです。 アレよりもアザーカーが「降ってくる」量も多いし動きもいやらしいですが、助けられているところは４車線もある道路です。 超高速でベルトスクロールする道路に車がひしめき合う箇所もありますが、回避経路はそれなりに多いです。 ぶつかっても損傷することはありませんが、ベストタイムを狙うのであれば極力ぶつからないことが肝心です。 [h3] 起伏とブラインドコーナー [/h3] レースルートはめちゃくちゃ起伏が激しいです(´･ω･) 丘を越えたらいきなり急カーブが待っているとかザラにあります。 なんか反射神経を試されてるようです。 [strike] 老化して衰えた [/strike]反射神経をなんとか駆使しながら、コーナーをクリアしていきます。 それもフルスピードで曲がり切れるか、アクセルワークが必要か、制動が必要かなどを判断しつつです。 まぁ車ゲーでは当たり前の話ですよね。 多分自動生成でランダムルートではないと思うので、覚えればなんとかなりそうですが、一回のドライブコースが大体２０ｋｍ前後あるため、覚えるのも大変です(´･ω･) [h3] 操作系はアナログではなくデジタル [/h3] スタート時にあれ？発進しないなってなります。 当たり前です。ギアをニュートラルから１速に上げましょうｗ 勿論レブリミット超えて噴かしすぎてスタートは駄目です。 いいかんじにトラクションを合わせてスタートしましょう。 このゲーム、最初に操作系の選択をさせてくれるのですが、私は他のレースゲームとの兼ね合いもあり、 右アナログボタン⇒アクセル 左アナログボタン⇒ブレーキ ステアリング⇒左アナログスティック で設定しました。 [b] 間違いでしたｗ [/b] 言うてこのゲームはレトロゲームの踏襲なのです。 十字キー、A,Bで事足ります。 なんならキーボードのカーソルキー、Z,Xでもいいかもしれません。 アナログ入力はできません、デジタル入力で頑張りましょう(ﾉ・ω・)ﾉ [h3] まだプレイ時間が短い中での所感 [/h3] 最初からゴーストカー（ゴーストっぽくはないですが）が伴走してくれます。 これは☆３（ゴールド）／☆２（シルバー）／☆１（ブロンズ）のボーダーラインです。 当然☆３はくそ速いです。 ミスがほぼほぼ許されません、抜かれないように頑張りましょう。 ただよほどコースアウトしまくらなければ、普通に走ってるだけでシルバーは獲れます。 己の反射神経次第ですが(´･ω･) 完走すると新コースがアンロックしていきます。 コースは起伏に富んでてワクワクします。 まぁ所詮往年のベルトスクロールゲームと言えばそれまでですが、それでも軽快です。 Magical Sound ShowerとかBGMにかけたくなります(´゜ω゜`) 一言で言えば、[strike] 爺 [/strike]往年のレースゲーマーには「こういうのあったなぁ」とノスタルジックな感傷に浸れます。 マシンは現状１台です。 なんとカラーリングはパレットから自由に選択できます。 セッティングとかは全くいじれません。 レトロ風味だし。 私としては重いゲームやりたくねぇなぁ、という時にちょっくらぷりっとひとっ走り行くかくらいの感覚でできるゲームです。 ガチ極めてやろうなんて類のゲームではありません。 皮肉でもなんでもなく、そのくらいのライトな感じで「あぁ昔はこういうのだったよねぇ」と浸るかんじがいいのです。 そういえば「コナミのハイパーラリー」には、走って走って走り切ったラストで、遠方の地平線から徐々にピラミッドが見えてくる演出がありました。 このゲームも夜景とか綺麗だけど、ああいったラスト演出的なものがあると走破感が増してよいのでは、と思います。 爺にしか分からない良さがある、そんなドライブゲームです)Oo(・Д・)

[h1]Rating[/h1] 2/10 [h1] Intro [/h1] I really don't see much of a reason to play this, when it's basically a worse execution of what its competitors have already done. Neither does it have unique aspects of its own or is fun to play. You're better off playing Horizon Chase Turbo, Horizon Chase 2, Slipstream and Victory Heat Rally instead. [h1] Positives [/h1] + Good aesthetics and graphics. [h1] Negatives [/h1] - There's only one vehicle to pick from. - Locations aren't interesting to look at. - Repetitive soundtrack. It also sounds nothing like what the trailer has. - Barebones campaign mode barely makes you feel like you're making progress. - Poor driving controls. It feels like your vehicle can suffer from understeer, even when it's a long turn.

i swear that sheep came outta nowhere! So did that tree, rock, sign, and family of 4.

I don't enjoy it. On the surface its a nice game. I like the art style, the sound design is nice and it has a fairly clean UI. The game brings back nostalgia for similar games of my youth. Yet it doesn't feel good to play. The cars don't handle like cars. There are frequently corners that the vehicles simply can't make and the player isn't able to see the road ahead of them to any meaningful degree. The game seems to regard the track gradually sloping upward to obscure the player's ability to plan ahead as a feature, not an extremely irritating oversight. Not for me.

Finally a racing game that does what it should. *Perfect flow *great camera view and movement *simple but clean graphics *reminds me totally of Enduro (atari) but with 3d graphics. *Really well done Im the dev od CRUDE and REMOTE LIFE....well done mate !

If you're looking for an engaging single player experience, that's not it, as the "campaign" portion is short and it's pretty much a practide mode - but if you enjoy time trialing, it's great, especially on procedurally generated tracks that are generated not from a numerical seed, but a descriptive name! It feels a bit like Out Run tuned for competitive play instead of extracting quarters at the arcade. It's really simple with stylized visuals and UI that is almost placeholder-y, but manages to be interesting and engaging to play, and it makes me want to replay courses over and over to get better times on a leaderboard. If you want to race me, look for a #ILikeCookies track!

Bonjour, ( Pas bcp de temps de jeu ok mais ... on reconnait assez vite un bon jeu -contôles, fluidité, etc -) Contrairement aux commentaires négatifs que j'ai pu lire, je tient à féliciter le dev car en une course j'ai retrouvé des sensations qu'on ne retrouve plus dans les jeux récents. Et qu'est ce que c'est bon d'avoir l'impression de se retrouver sur une borne d'arcade ou sur sa vieille SEGA ( j'avais un jeu similaire ) ! Dès les premières secondes la maniabilité, la vitesse, le fait qu'on puisse passer les vitesses, les décors m'ont conquis ! Je suis fan de vitesse et de belles voitures et franchement (maintenant il est à 5 euros ) pour 20 euros ça vaut le coup. Bon côté voiture y'en à qu'une mais c'est pas déconnant et elle à une allure de FastBack que j'adore ! J'ai pas eu de pb de nausée a cause de la map qui "tourne" ... C'est ta tête qui tourne non ? Pour les amateurs de courses et d'arcade c'est un coup de maître ! Merci beaucoup parce que pour 5 euros je vais prendre beaucoup de fun. On devrait voir des jeux comme celui ci plus souvent :).

Excellent and enjoyable racing game. Reminds me of Lotus Turbo Challenge 2 and Jaguar XJ220 games on the Amiga back in the day.
