About
SuperSpec Rallycross is a fast top-down arcade rallycross racer with big jumps, joker lap strategy, time trials, and up to four players in local split-screen.
Built for quick races, close finishes, and replayable competition, SuperSpec Rallycross delivers the thrill of rallycross in a clean, pick-up-and-play arcade format. It is easy to learn, satisfying to master, and packed with the features that make every race worth another run.
Inspired by the racing games many of us grew up with, SuperSpec Rallycross combines old-school arcade energy with responsive handling, competitive lap chasing, and a charming retro-styled presentation.
Each driver must take the joker lap once per race. The challenge is choosing the perfect moment. Take it too early or too late and you can lose track position, momentum, or the win. That single decision adds a layer of strategy that makes every event more exciting.
Jump into a quick race, fight through a four-race Grand Prix, or push for your cleanest lap in Time Trial. When it is time for local competition, SuperSpec Rallycross supports up to four players in split-screen multiplayer, with Steam Remote Play Together support for easy online sessions.

Reviews
Very light on content (can be finished in a session or two), but surprisingly polished and enjoyable, impressive for a solo dev effort. The cars look great, AI is competent, and everything works as well as you'd expect. The handling was the biggest surprise in that for me - it's easy to grasp, but not overly simplistic, and throwing the car around is enjoyable. In that one aspect the game is better than I expected. It serves well as a Rallycross-oriented "Circuit Superstars Lite", albeit without online races.
If you like miniature sims or rally in general, you're gonna love this game. It has a similar vibe to Circuit Superstars but specifically to rallycross dedication! For a game made by a solo dev it has extremely good polish and care put into it from the real life inspirations to the cars and sounds of the game. Feels great to play and is definitely a game that's easy to pick up but hard to master!

If you are an arcade keyboard racer like me, this game is fun ! The Lowest AI diffuculty is not too difficult. Wifh some practice, you can the race soon, to unlock more championship and cars. Personally, I like a fun, easy to control, not too difficult, relaxing racing games. I tries other similar games, but some of them are very hard or impossible to win a race, giving more frustration. But this game is a fun game. In my opinion, this game has the best physics or car handling among many similar games. I hope DEV also expand to Rally version and GRID version in the future.
Post review Edit: The devs responded to my review and have addressed most of the issues I raised, so I am now recommending this game. Thanks to the devs for listening to the players. Nice job, thanks. I do however still feel that you should be able to collide with track side objects, not quite sure of the thinking there, bit it's not a show stopper. Great game now. Original review: I really want to like this game, it's so very nearly a gem, but they have got a few fundamental things wrong. 1) In the first cup in grand Prix mode the first 2 tracks you can get 1st place easily, but tracks 3/4 suddenly the other cars are souped up hot rods and impossible to beat. 2) Some track side collision detection is missing you can drive right through certain objects. 3) post race stats come up too slowly and you can't skip them
Very fun, but not enough content. I beat every Grand Prix on every difficulty, set a top 10 time on every track, and got every achievement in about 4 hours. In addition to more content, here are some other things I'd like to see added/changed: Time trial mode should let you... ...do as many laps as you like in a single session ...race against your best ghost from previous sessions ...pick a ghost from the global leader board to race against ...disable ghosts altogether Races should... ...end as soon as you finish instead of forcing you to wait for the CPUs to finish ...display the current fastest lap and who holds it The UI should display... ...performance characteristics for each car ...the entire leader board for a given track
This game is a lot of fun to just pick up and race. I am playing on the steam deck and it runs perfect. I really enjoy the top down graphics. I think the joker lap brings a fun and challenging at times mechanic to a racing game like this. I would recommend this to any racing game enthusiasts!
Fun little quirky rallycross game that's thoroughly enjoyable to sit back and chill playing!
SuperSpec Rallycross is a alternative fun aracde racer for those who are fans of Art of Rally, Absolute Drift, Circuit Superstars or any similar games. The game itself consist of several cups you need to complete to unlock additional cars. Alongside the singleplayer, you also do get a splitscreen multiplayer option where you can play with 3 friends. The game itself was fun, but short. What doesn't make it for me is the lack of no online multiplayer what i feel is a huge missed oppertunity for this game. If you do enjoy similar rallycross games but would like for it to have a online multiplayer, then i would recommend RXC - Rally Cross Challenge. This game might appeal for the acheivments hunters as this game only took me roughly 3 hours to play through. PROS: + Fun arcade racer, + Catchy in-game music + Various cars and tracks to choose from CONS: - No online multiplayer (for now) Overall - 6/10, if the online multiplayer was added then i would have given it 8/10
The sense of motion and speed is REALY enjoyable. But Devs, can you please sort out one big issue- when you land after a jump, it feels really bad, like you slammed on the brakes. Also, it would be much better with handbrake for really tight cornering, and camera view options, and races other than rally X, like real rally stages, and other vehicle options. But anyway you made a great game, and there is a tear-jerking shortage of this genre, so thanks!!!!
It's a well made top-down//isometric rally game roughly similar to Circuit Superstars. You can unlock cars, there are various variations of the tracks in a number of locations. The driving is fun and what I love is that there is split-screen coop. You can beat each grand-prix in 3 different difficulty settings, all of which are rather easy. Best played with controller. The negatives are minor. It took me about 3h to finish on all 3 difficulty settings (you need to finish the easier ones to unlock harder ones), and you're most likely not gonna play this for dozens of hours, but actually I prefer it that way for such a game. For me the main criticism is that it was a bit too cozy. E.g., if you crash into a wall there is almost no penalty, you bounce off in a very friendly way without losing much speed at all, in some corners it may even be beneficial. You can just drive through visual obstacles like lamp posts near the track, and you can cut the track without any penalty. But if you're fine with that or want to play with your child, it's a great game. I experienced no bugs whatsoever and it felt very polished. Great on steam deck. If you like this you should also have a look at Circuit Superstars, Super Woden GP(2), RXC, Rush Rally Origins, and maybe Art of Rally. Especially for adults, I would recommend RXC.
