About
Micro Overdrive: Home Tour is a fast-paced arcade racing game where tiny cars turn everyday rooms into chaotic racetracks. Race through oversized household environments, dodge unpredictable obstacles, and fight for every corner in tight, high-energy matches.
Easy to pick up and full of personality, Micro Overdrive blends classic top-down racing with playful environments and instant fun. Whether you’re chasing the perfect lap or causing chaos with friends, every race is built for quick reactions, close calls, and loud finishes.
The house is your playground — and nothing is scaled in your favor.
Race across kitchens, desks, bathtubs, and toy-filled rooms where familiar objects become dangerous obstacles. Spilled liquids, moving hazards, narrow paths, and unexpected turns keep every track dynamic and unpredictable.
Each environment brings its own twists, forcing you to adapt your driving line and react fast as the house fights back.
Micro Overdrive is built around tight, responsive controls and instant feedback.
Steering is precise, acceleration is snappy, and every corner feels deliberate. There’s no super simulations here — just clean arcade handling that rewards skill, timing, and confidence.
Easy to learn, hard to master, and endlessly replayable, every race is designed to feel fast, fair, and satisfying from the very first lap.
Play solo in structured tournaments or share the screen in local multiplayer mayhem.
In career mode, push through a series of races with increasing difficulty, manage your lives, and fight for better finishes. One mistake can cost you everything.
In tournament mode, things get loud. Compete head-to-head on the same screen, block rivals, steal racing lines, and turn every match into a chaotic battle full of laughs, close calls, and friendly rivalries.
Micro Overdrive is built for single or couch play — quick sessions, big reactions, and "just one more race" energy.

Nostalgic and modern. Fun game! I liked it a lot!
A pretty good game, I did have fun playing it, the tracks look great, handling feels satisfying, and the soundtrack is enjoyable, tbh the only downside is the game's length, on one hand I didn't even need a whole hour to win all the cups and earn all the achievements, but on the other one, it also means I had a good time and would like a bit more content to enjoy, and it could even be solved with updates, dlc, or maybe a sequel? Who knows? Anyway if you enjoy Micro Machines like games, this one is pretty good!
Been looking forward to this game since it had it's demo released on Steam Next Fest in 2025 since I enjoyed it so much. Will say that once I did buy it and beat the game (Collecting all achievements along the way) I did feel as though there wasn't enough content and would love to see more of the racing and characters as I feel as though the fun doesn't last long enough IMO. Managed to get everything in less than 1 hour but if you are a more casual gamer this may last you about an hour. Controls are easy to pickup for anyone which is a big plus in my eyes and music is pretty great too :D Split screen (Cup Mode) is a nice thing to play with friends but this could maybe work better in a online environment as it would be very chaotic. Good fun if you enjoyed games like Micro Machines and a fun time of a game.
Really fun game, calls back to the original Micro Machines games, one advantage is that you can see the whole race, so you don't need to try and remember or use reflexeas ahead of the screen. Tracks are a lot of fun, music is nice and the controls feel smooth. AI is boithg competetive on higher levels and also fallable, which is nice to see that they make mistakes too, If the devs decide (and depends on how the game is coded), I think a massive benefit to this game would be if people could bring in their own pics for races, paint in spots for obstacles, racetrack sections, etc. But as it stands, it's still a solid little game.
Micro Overdrive: Home Tour is a short but super fun throwback to classic top-down racers, with fast racing, great music, and a fun modern art style that gives it plenty of charm. More content would be nice, especially because the Indy-car style tracks were easily my favorites, but what’s here is genuinely enjoyable and definitely worth checking out.
A very charming game with just the right level of challenge! Interesting tracks that allow interaction with the player. A variety of characters that deepen the experience. Impeccable gameplay, and the game’s biggest strength, an extremely fun local multiplayer. Highly recommended!
Nice little game, play time is about 1 hour. Easy 100 % Achievements.
Bought Micro Overdrive: Home Tour on a -50% sale at 4,67€. The game feels nostalgic. Micro Overdrive: Home Tour reminds me of Micro Machines, when I was a teen playing it. Loved that series. Micro Overdrive: Home Tour is a small game, but worth the price. Love the cartoony graphics, the simplicity and the racing in general. If you love(d) Micro Machines just like me, I would recommand Micro Overdrive: Home Tour, certainly for that on sale price.
