Cities: Skylines.
The truth is I enjoy building games, but this game was a bit different because when I finally started to figure it out, But then I came to stand still It seems like. I keep hitting these difficulty levels that I can’t figure out how to complete.
Cities Skylines 2 is still developing among other city builder games. Cities Skylines 1 is best and optimized for my hardware currently. I am recommending this game because of longevity of development AND fun it can bring with mods on PC playing.

This game is incredible! It's deep, engaging, and challenging. Albeit it's not the most realistic simulation, it provides a satisfying balance between complexity and accessibility, making it enjoyable for any form of play! I especially love the modding community, which is an absolute goldmine. One heavy downside is the existance of DLCs and CCPs, which adds up really fast in price. The base game feels very bland without them, making the DLCs feel more like a cash grab. Still, the core gameplay is strong enough to warrant a recommendation. Overall, I highly recommend Cities: Skylines to anyone who enjoys strategy, creative, and simulation games!

This game as a city builder is amazing! Yes this is the older version but it has been kept updated and perfectly functional, and the community created stuff for this game is endless. If you have a good PC you can expand the city area to use all 81 tiles of the map. You can start from scratch, or play a challenging level with a goal to achieve. Build a sandbox city or build a self sustaining financially stable city. Choices are endless, and this will forever be in my library for some play time. I just wish this version had the same back-end script for proper multi core use on modern CPUs. Currently this version is limited to only utilize a few of my 16 cores. So the limiting factor on city size a population performance is actually the game engine itself coming to a jam with instructions having to flow a specific logic sequence. This can be easily proved when I have a huge game population lagging, 75% of the CPU cores on my system just sit there and chill while the 2 or 4 cores working are screaming 100% pegged. Still a great game, but like anything there are limits.
Super addictive and satisfying, easy to jump in and out of :) Mods make it even better for QoL stuff
