So this is one of those situations where I wish Steam had a different rating system. The either/or of the 'Thumbs Up/Thumbs Down' system makes it difficult, because even though I'm going for a Thumbs Down, I don't think this is poorly made or ultra offensive or full of bugs. I just don't think there is enough to warrant spending the few bucks or time on it when there are other AVNs at similar price points with much more to offer. Well, let's get into it.
Character Models.
Basic. I'll be using this word a lot. There are only 4 character models in the game. 3 females and your male avatar. The 3 females pretty much all have the same body type with hair and makeup being the difference makers. There is not much in the way of closeups so it's hard to tell much on skin texture, but it's fair to say they all look fairly plastic. That being said, when there is a closeup, the faces are...off. The blonde especially, who is meant to be an older woman, just comes off as poorly rendered. As for the male proxy, again, basic. It doesn't get a lot of screen time, even during lewd scenes, but suffice to say he's actually pretty scrawny with your typical large member.
Lewd Scenes.
A mixed bag. There are some flashes of brilliance here, such as a nice foreground and background out of focus shot during the first love scene. However, there is not a lot of animations, with many of the scenes regulated to still pics. What animations there are are fairly...basic. Usually one position with nothing much in the way of facial changes. Hair is stagnant and aside from some breast movement, don't expect a lot of other jiggling from butts or thighs.
Story and Characters.
Pretty non-existent. The male lead lives in a small community, it's Christmas Eve and he's inviting one, two or all three of his "attractive" female neighbors over to spend the holiday with him. That's about it. No back story or occupations. Nothing about this little (farming?) community like other inhabitants or landmarks. As far as personalities go, uh, they can hold conversations? Again, aside from the hair and outfits, they may as well all be the same character with only the blonde and her slight insecurity about her age being the most you get in terms of characterization. Don't expect an actual ending either. After your encounter with whomever comes over, the scene fades to black and you are prompted to try again, which brings us to...
Game Play.
Surprisingly this may be it's main appeal. As mentioned there are 3 women to invite over. In order to decide who comes over, you provide gifts of different types of sexy outfits to each of the girls. Depending on what you gift to who will garner you a different scene. There are several different scenarios and, if you don't follow a guide, you could easily get lost restarting and giving different outfits to different girls to get a new scenario. Just a shame the scenarios themselves are not all that worth the effort.
Final Thoughts.
Again, I don't think this is a bad attempt. It has some good ideas and even a few technical showpieces, there's just not enough here in quality or quantity to designate time to it. I hope the developers keep trying, because lord knows, I could never attempt to make an AVN, so hopefully their next effort is a little more fulfilling.
