Always wanted to try a Pokemon game, but sick of hearing that Pokemon games now aren't as good as they were in the past. Tried this game to feel how those GOOD POKEMON games were, and it didn't disappoint me in the slightest (until now at least).

For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 23 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 14 places towards #1, and the 2,515 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

Great monster tamer game, love exploration part of it, collecting and retro vibe :3 Having really amazing fun with it
As a resident of the Wirral (although not New Wirral, thankfully) this game was a genuinely fun and heartwarming experience. I really enjoyed all of the local references to places I've actually visited in the real world and I'm glad that this little corner of England is getting some love and attention, even if it's filled with strange critters. Big respect to the developers and I can't wait to see what the future brings. Beyond the personal aspect, it's an amazing monster tamer and I couldn't recommend it enough.
72/100 Good Pokemon clone, great soundtrack, would be better if some QoL changes were made. This game is a Pokemon clone but with a twist. There is a Fusion mechanic on top of monster hunting that makes things more interesting. I will split the review into 2 parts because it somehow makes sense. The first part is simply following the story and ignoring most other things. This, I feel is the best way to experience the game. It has a good story, great feel to it, amazing soundtrack and it's just pretty to look at and makes you feel good. Combined with the gameplay it makes for a great game. But, here is the second part. When you get to the endgame, or closer to the endgame and the world "opens up a bit" and you try to do some extra things like hunting all monsters or such things it gets really tedious and repetative. The same song playing over and over in encounters, same moves being spammed over and over and no possible way to speed it up. Not only that but you need to wait for the half a second animation on each status effect you afflict even when defeating a monster. It gets really annoying. There are other minor nuances but trying to discover everything turns the games strengths into weaknesses. In this case, attention to detail and laid-backness, if that makes sense. I still haven't completed the endgame, or post-game and I don't know if I will, since I expect it to be more of the same. Anyway, really good game, quite enjoyed playing it but it suffers from some QoL things.
This has to be my favorite game ever, the character design and development fits and it doesn't feel random; the art style also matches very well, especially the boss ones. The story is also very well written, but I believe that the game should've been a lot more linear. I want to add another line just to show how good the music in this game is, it fits the style and the transition from the instrumental to the vocal version of songs works perfectly. Also deciding to view the ending after doing every other achievement first was a (bad) choice that made me enjoy the ending more than I would've if i didn't, this is because it made me grow a lot more attached to the world and the characters in it.
Very charming creature collector. Creative use of artstyle. Kind of wish the sacrificial candle would cooperate more.
a short but memorable adventure.
