Prices
Each in the currency that store quoted — not converted: the gap between two rows is the publisher's pricing, not an exchange rate.
14 of 15 markets; the rest we haven't asked for this title, not markets where it is unavailable.
Availability
We put this game to every storefront we collect. A market that answered not sold has told us something about the game; a market we never asked has not, and the two are never drawn the same.
Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 0.57/day in the week to Jul 30 → 0.71/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 25 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 10 places towards #1, and the 2,413 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

I played on Ultra Violence, same as I did for the base campaign and TAG 1. I love the environments of this DLC, they're a breath of fresh air. A lot of other things that CAN be said dumb down to skill issue on my part. I personally wasn't a fan of the spirit and its buffs to the demon it possesses nor the screechers and their buffs on death, but I could just, y'know, get good. ...But what can be said with absolute certainty alongside everyone else is that the final boss is actual garbage to fight against. I love the design of his armour, but mechanics-wise, he's gotta be the most frustrating boss I've ever fought. It's just a souped-up Marauder with MORE ghost minion spam (wink wink, Tyrant, Baron of Hell, Mancubus, and a Pain Elemental) and lifesteal so high that it punishes a single mistake (letting him hit you OR shooting him during the wrong melee swings) with essentially refilling the majority if not all of his current healthbar if things cascade badly. It's a glorified DPS check (quickswapping and damage optimization to give him less time to punish you) and skillcheck, which is fine, but it does NOT need to drag on this much with the overtuned lifesteal (apart from, y'know...dying over and over). I'm not saying it should be easy. I'm just saying it should be FUN and INTERESTING, and he is NOT fun nor interesting to fight. Otherwise, rest of the DLC's pretty decent...for a spectacle. Story's meh. Gameplay is just DOOM Eternal's combat loop but way more chaotic. Sick environments. If you want more DOOM Eternal, I say it's worth it on a sale. If you don't like fighting Marauders...maybe pass on this one.

14 on sale1 answered “not sold”0 we did not ask
The 1 “not sold” market is read from the Steam price pass of Aug 21: that day the store answered for this game elsewhere and gave no price there. The 14 priced markets are the same rows as the table above — each the latest price we hold, dated here when it is older than that pass. The 0 marked “not asked” were not put to this store at all — either it has no storefront there or we do not collect it yet, and neither is a statement about the game. A refusal is a refusal on one day; a store can list a title again tomorrow.

Doom Eternal is one of the best FPS there is. It is incredibly fun, awesome music, awesome map and everything good you have probably heard is true. With that said, this DLC is ♥♥♥♥. The first part was not so good but fine. This one is just BS. It adds more enemies that restrict what weapons you can kill demons (and also restrict movement), so it breaks the combat flow of the base game. And you know what? That would be fine. The worst part, however, is the final boss. It is the worst boss I have ever played. It reuses the Marauder mechanics so you can only attack it whenever it feels like it, but also adds other mechanics that are annoying; like spawning demons, and wolves and charge attacks. And you know what? Fine, I wouldn't mind that, the problem is that it also adds a new ability where it regenerates its health AND you have to fight it for FIVE phases! At that point, it is just wasting your time. Yeah, I get it "git good" and all that, but this is no longer fun. It's not like the base game. If you are wondering if you should get the DLCs, don't bother. You're not missing much.
the final boss is so utterly and unbelievably terrible, like 3 mins of playtesting should be enough for a functioning brain to go"nah this aint it, we need to change this". i cant believe, i cant wrap my head around, how a boss can even be this bad.
I think it's vastly overhated IMO it's way better than Part 1 But yeah, the last boss (the only boss) was bonkers Why the hell did he need 5 health bars? Would 3 not have been enough? I recommend it, it's fun
The DLCs were for the MOST part worthy fun extensions.... but... Part 2 in Particular... Whoever designed the Dark Lord boss fight needs to be fired into space stapped to a rocket.
final boss is legit a reskinned marauder but bigger and just annoying. i love spending 5 minutes waiting for the boss to even TRY to attack me so i can daze it. it overall was not a bad experience, but the final boss and some of the enemy mechanics just do not make me want to recommend this part. escalation encounters were the only hella fun part. this was nowhere near as good as the base game but it wasn't egregiously horrible. also has lore or whatever if someone cares.
Quite possibly the most obnoxious boss fight I've ever fought. Not even hard, I beat it first try. But 30 minutes of fighting a marauder that only does the green flash once in a blue moon is just ♥♥♥♥♥♥ game design. The marauders throughout both DLCs are also just really obnoxious to fight. Again, not hard. It just feels like its designed to annoy the ♥♥♥♥ out of you.
I used the power of friendship to kill god…in Doom…and yet the story didn’t really end properly. Escalation encounters were fun though. Gameplay is still fun but the final boss as Maurader 2.0. Really wish there was a “meh” recommendation
"...an incredibly overhated DLC, yet..."
While Doom Eternal: The Ancient Gods 2, has been the " worst " release of a Doom Campaign since Doom 64 or Final Doom Plutonia, it is still quite a fine experience. It offers what you would expect from a Doom Eternal DLC, though not all new innovations in that DLC are a total hit in my opinion. I personally disliked the Cursed Prowler very much, as his curse restricts you of what is fun about the game and can easily turn into a dissatisfying death sentence. The other new demons, in particular the Stone Imp and the Screeching Zombie are kind of fine but a bit lazy. The Sentinel Hammer is actually an incredible improvement over the Sentinel Blade of the Main Camapaing as it is enirching the combat loop, by being more than just an instant kill weapon, The Four Camapaign Levels are in terms of presentation and level design definitley weaker than The Ancient Gods 1 and the base campaign. I encountered several bugs which required reloading the save file. Also all the levels are severly lacking in exploration and collectibles. In terms of Story, this DLC concludes the Doom Slayer Saga, while doubling down on the comicy, Marvel-Esque, Storytelling (which I already considered inferior in the base campaign) and continuing the trend of abandoning the darker, grittier, indirect, Storytelling of DOOM 2016. Now to what is considered the elephant in the room by most players, the Final Boss... So what do I think about him? I think... that fight is actually executed fairly well! Indeed its quite tricky to learn his pattern, but once you understood how he is to be defeated the fight can be won without dying, within a few minutes on Nightmare difficulty. In my opinion, a worthy final boss to the Doomslayers Saga. To all those who whine about the difficulty in game and this DLC in particular: "Git Gud lmao" So what do I think:
Doom Eternal: The Ancient Gods 2 is an incredibly overhated DLC, yet a flawed and weaker experience compared to its predecessors
It was fine until the horrible and tedious end boss. A souped Marauder (who's already an annoying as hell enemy) with 5 health bars? Pass.
