I'm only giving this game a thumbs down simply so people may actually read this review. THIS IS AN EXTREMELY FAST PACED GAME!!! If you are not familiar with your keyboard/have to look at your keys a lot or don't do well with fast paced games, this game is NOT for you! Playing the normal game mode, everything is wayyyy too fast. I don't feel like I have enough time to try and start new food for the customers, nor do I feel like the orders have a long enough wait time. I also don't see what the point is in having the option to call for serving help and the "cool down" on it being as long as it is when you have customers that will leave within 10 seconds it seems. There is a "relaxed" game mode, but I didn't try it out. I don't know if that takes away wait time or just doesn't have real consequences, but I feel like I should be able to enjoy the normal mode without feeling like I'm going to fail the level, or come nearly close to it every single time. Everything else about the game is great. The food options are awesome! The whole game idea is great too! I will add though, that I wish you had more of a typing element in the game. Most of it is just typing one letter to do anything. I ended up requesting for a refund as I just don't see myself going out of my way to play this game and I just would rather get the money back even if I got it on sale lol.

I love the CSD series in general, but I think I vibe with CSD3 the most. The general gist is you serve customers some food, and you prepare the food by pressing keyboard keys (or by clicking, or by joystick buttons). The problem is that there are up to 14 customers at once, so you have to do everything really quickly, and also manage your time to e.g. pick up a food from burning. You also prepare up your own menu for each level, giving you some strategy; you want to pick foods that are easy to prepare together in your menu. For me, one of the biggest draw is the per-recipe keyboard customization. I can label each ingredient with a key, and this is incredibly useful when you're serving recipes at high speed. Often you just read the first letter of each ingredient. (The problem with this approach is when you have multiple ingredients of the same letter.) On the other hand, some foods have very few recipes that use a ton of keys. I tend to bind them to something like FDS and JKL, for incredibly rapid typing. I think there's a ton of depth you can get by trying to cheese this typing system. Different shifts (levels) have different menu requirements, so you want to plan out what foods you'll bring to each one. That said, there are some foods that I'm super comfortable with, and others that I'm actively avoiding. So although there are a lot of different requirements, I find myself mainly going with the same foods with small changes, which might make the game a bit repetitive. I think, once you play out the first few levels, you've understood most of the mechanics of the game. The rest of the game is basically the similar gameplay loop, just with different menu and different events during a level. I find myself enjoying the gameplay loop enough to get a perfect in literally all the levels, but your experience might differ. Maybe simply get the game and try it for a few levels, and see if you think you'll like doing it over and over, or you want to refund it.
One of the most precise and rewarding games I've ever played. I've been without ADHD meds for a while now due to an extremely unpleasant medical system, but the focused and stimulated state this game gets me into has actually helped me a lot. It's weird. Also the lore is deep and hilarious, and I hope the robot ladies go out on a date sometime. 10/10
Anyone saying that the beginning of this game is too hard is retarded. Clearly never done anything challenging in your lives or its the first time you've seen a keyboard
Get it idk what to type here but def worth the money
