Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 20.57/day in the week to Aug 18 → 31.57/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 22 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 9 places towards #1, and the 2,513 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

You are the monster that needs to survive by killing and eating humans and also trying to find your way around the lab that is studying you.
It's fun and never tedious. It's really a well crafted little game.
It feels good to be the bad guy. Especially a giant amorphous blob. I liked just scaring people getting next to them and watch them cower in fear! I only ate when I was hungry (injured), but eating people was satisfying. Soaking everything in pixelated blood. Or ripping up and throwing the robots (were they bots?). There was some cool flashback sequences for a little bit of story, but basically you’re a blob trying to escape the facility killing all who stand in your way, what more do you need? The controls were cumbersome but somehow smooth at the same time, the blob flailed into things but also flowed over, around, and through obstacles. I did occasionally get hung up on things or accidentally pulled into vents, since you get pretty big. Reaching for things with the tentacles was erratic, but it automatically homed into usable objects which was handy, just got annoying when there was >=2 objects near each other. The combat was awesome and very satisfying. Somewhat over powered, but still it’s easy to die when you’re facing multiple enemies. Then enemies with shields can block your attacks, so you can’t just go charging into combat without any strategy. Even get to mind control humans and use them to fight each other. There’s also basic puzzles to break up the combat. There’s 3 sizes to the blob each with different abilities, so you’ll have to switch between them to access your different abilities to overcome various obstacles. The maps felt like a sprawling labyrinth, but that was an illusion since your path was restricted and you were guided right where you needed to be. Apparently, I did miss several things while I played through the game though. The music reminded me of the Alien movie, I liked it and thought it added to the ambiance. The rest of the sound design and effects were excellent too. The graphics are very pixelated, but there’s some nice effects like things blowing in the wind. Overall: 8/10
Strangely cozy
This game is a great, small, low-effort after-work game. Its backbone is the rich atmosphere. No dead ends. Good auto-save points. Don't overstayed its welcome. I can’t think of any famous monster that the protagonist reminds me of, but it still feels like a well-established archetype.
