Recensione di Captive

Pro:
Voto: 6,5/10 e lode
good game
Length <30min Captive is an RPGMaker esque escape room game, the player has a limited time to escape from the building they are trapped in. You awake injured inside of a multi floored facility with a time ticking down from 30. While exploring you discover that you are not the first person to have been placed in here. There are clues of those who came before you which aid you in your escape. Captive is effectively one giant escape room in which the player will primarily be collecting items, vehicle solving a few small puzzles. Items were fairly easy to find, I struggled a little though this was more because I missed some places to explore. There are no horror moments in Captive, a few arguably gore scenes but that’s about it. You can die a lot. Overall Captive was a short and fun puzzle escape game, which did take me a little while to find everything, for someone who is used to these types of games I doubt they will find much challenge. The story was not the dominant part of the game, though there is a really interesting ending which makes you wonder what is going on. If you want to look at some gameplay, I will leave my video below, probably best not watch too much or you could ruin the game: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QU7EwY0Rtfg Looking for more games to play check out my curator page, I have now passed 100 games I’ve played: https://store.steampowered.com/curator/41770172/
An interesting little game with a twist!
Enjoyed this quite abit. ALOT more story and depth to the game than I expected and the puzzles were pretty clever, with a few parts definitely giving me chills. A buck 99 well spent. Philly's Real Games Emporium approved!
A great title in RPGMaker horror, especially for the tiny price tag. I did not see that story coming. I won't spoil it for any readers, but it caught me out of left field. Granted, the movement in this game was a bit jank, but it's workable. Definitely worth picking up and playing for $2.
Recomendable.
This bite size gem was worth the time. Short but creepy and worth the replay for the different endings. I usually get frustrated with slow movement, but I felt like it added to the sense of urgency that the game initially sets and adds to the experience rather than distracting from it. Kinda wish there was a way to bring the background sounds back hitting wrong buttons, but i didn't really look for a resolution, so that may be on me.
Good game! Funnily enough you think you can definitely do it in 30 minutes, but if you are not aware enough it's probably gonna take a second try. Try it out! Good experience!
