Captive

Loading into Captive and seeing a title screen saying escape or give up was an unique way for the standard start menu. With an eerie look at the player character, this made me interested to find what was in store. The game does well by leaving the main plot details open for interpretation, while laying down details for the game at the same time. It allows for a discussion to form around the ideas behind the game. The main downside the game had for me was the flashing words on screen that appeared very quickly, half the time it was very difficult to read, if it was readable at all, missing any associated lore with the text. Overall, the ideas and puzzles behind the game were solid and I enjoyed the game. I would recommend this game to anyone enjoys escape style games. I think this would be a fun game to speed run since it has the built in pressure of the clock. If you have a controller it plays smoother (for me) in that regards, it sets a good atmosphere and the music helps support the mood as well.

This a good game, But they should've explained the plot a bit more and it would been a more good experience. I recommend this game on full price or sale whatever that suits you. - Your avg gamer :)

Fun short game, would recommend if you need to kill an hour or two.

7/10 No hay puntos de guardado, así que tienes que jugar varias partidas para poder sacar todos los finales y los logros. Cabe mencionar que la historia solo cobra sentido completando dichos finales. Es una buena aventura de horror con tintes psicológicos y gore. El juego no es caro, y te da para pasar un buen rato, así que sí recomiendo darle una oportunidad.

Slow Gameplay, but without that it wouldn`t make Sense and would be totaly Short. Great Game-

Wir wachen auf.. in einer Zelle.. mit einer blutenen Wunde am Bein.. und ohne Gedächtnis. Was ist passiert? Wurden wir angegriffen? Du musst herausfinden was los war. Die erste Aufgabe: Entkomme deiner Zelle. Auf dem Flur entdeckst du ... nichts.. findest einen Aufzug, doch die Stockwerke sind leer. Was ist nur passiert.. und dann.. was.. was ist das?.. Menschliche Leichenteile?... Ein kurzes, aber sher interessantes Game, indem wir unsrem Gefängnis entkommen müssen. Doch spute dich.. du hast 30 Minuten Zeit ehe du am Blutverlust stirbst. Wir müssen die verschiedenen Stockwerke und Räume erkunden, kleine Rätsel lösen und sinnvoll kombinieren wofür die gefundenen Items genutzt werden müssen. Kurz und knackig mit einer Story die viel Raum für Interpretation lässt. Absolut empfehlenswert.

Not my cup of tea. But I understand why people would like this, the timer is neat and the art style is super cute yet grim :)

An interesting little game. If you aren't concerned with multiple endings or achievements, then you can beat it in about 20 minutes. The puzzles aren't super hard, but they still make you think. It doesn't seem like there's a lot of plot, but once you get to the end you see how things fall into place
