Like most of this Developers games it is abandoned in a half finished state. They have great potential but no support after release. Cant recommend anyone purchase the games without the knowledge nothing will be fixed or updated
DO NOT PURCHASE! Game not finished and never will be.
abandoned
Wow. How utterly boring and bereft of interest this game is. I was hoping for something a little more villainous than slaughtering thousands of civilians and cops. There's no AI whatsoever in the enemies, the civilians just run around randomly, even right towards you. The hostiles just charge at you firing their weapons, usually through obstacles that you cannot shot through. There's nothing to play FOR, nothing to aim for, no way of improving or getting new powers. Just the stuff you get to start with, and off you go until you are bored. On top of the boring gameplay, some genius decided that, while all hell is breaking loose, you've got all kinds of enemies shooting you from every direction, that they would make the camera constantly zoom in and out from your character, and switching on and off slo-mo every two seconds! And no, there's nothing to turn off, you just have to suffer that brilliant "idea" that utterly destroys any flow you might actually find in the combat. Speaking of combat, you have a limit on each power that you have, only able to activate it a certain number of times each "level" you go up (And refreshing your power totals is all that levelling seems to do) Even melee has a limited number of uses, as do all the powers. Sure, the game wants you to alternate your powers so that you are not doing the same thing all the time, but forcing it is hardly a great method of varying abilities. The ONLY good thing I can say is about the work that has been put in to death animations and the reactions of the NPC's to being hit/killed. Those have clearly had a LOT of work put into them, and are well done. It's not something that could carry ANY game though, and so is the only positive on a sea of negatives. A dull and boring game with a good idea, but an utterly uninteresting implementation. Take a pass on this one.
WOW, this is really great "Playground of destruction" game. You get to feel like the most powerful person, and destroy hundreds of people, cars and buildings all with really cool abilities. The only thing I'd like to see more of, is different abilities to swap out/unlock, AND new or customizable villain models.
after playing for a couple minutes it gets really boring. The dev hasnt updated the game for 2 years so dont buy this game.
fun but needs updates
dont waste your time on this game here, it seems to just be abandoned instantly after they posted it. it hasnt received a single update since 2023 and i doubt that it ever will
The game is fun for about 30 minutes, maybe an hour and that's it. The only progression is get to level 30 and its honestly pretty lame.. Getting to 30 isn't easy either.. the enemy projectiles on "easy" mode are just too difficult and the way your abilities work just isn't fun at all. You should get exp per kill and be able to customize your villain experience, but its the same slog. It's sad cause it's a cool concept, but seems just a quick cash grab while hopping on the vampire survivor train. Unless they make updates and add new cool villain skills and outfits, its pretty much abandoned at this point.
I hope more gets added. I will leave the cat here, so that everybody who passes by can pet it and give it a thumbs up /> フ | _ _ l /` ミ_xノ / | / ヽ ノ │ | | | / ̄| | | | | ( ̄ヽ__ヽ_)__) \二つ
