Look I love older cods and zombies like this one but its a shame when there is a bug that literally keeps you from playing zombies and the only workaround is through having a friend that owns a copy to fix it for you these ports get no love, bugfixes,or anything for the community its frustrating to see a game like this get no patches to such a game breaking bug
It only sucks now cuz nobody wants to play this anymore. Not even on IW7x. Bummer
I refunded Black Ops 3. I liked the story and didn’t think it was all that bad, I just didn’t like the guns. Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare is the last time Infinity Ward ever tried to be creative with their COD games. The year is 31 ASW, thirty one years since the Succession War. After Mars cains its independence and immediately becomes an authoritarian ♥♥♥♥ hole, the Settlement Defense Front stands at an uneasy truce with the United Nations Space Alliance. During a really dumb idea called “fleet day” the entirey of the UNSA fleet is in orbit over Geneva, giving the SDF a perfect chance to wipe out Earth’s defenses and invade the planet, putting the Earthborn entirely at the mercy of the SDF’s iron fist. LUCKILY, Nick Reyes, SCAR (Space Combat Air Recon) Commando and pals are on the scene and manage to get their Jackal Star fighters into space after an intense battle on the ground and fend off the Martian attack. With the Captain of the SWC-141 (Haha get it) Retribution, an Admiral-class Space Warfare Carrier. Reyes is promoted to Head Dude in Charge and wages war alongside the SWC Tigris to buy Earth time to rebuild it’s space armada and fight off the SDF’s seemingly endless space forces. This is nuts, are we sure this is a Call of Duty game? COD:Infinite Warfare has this weird thing going on where it feels like that the lead writer put a lot of time into the setting and at the same time no effort at all. It’s goofy and stupid, like how the SDF has 900% more military forces than the UNSA. I feel like everything was written to justify having cool space stuff do cool space things. Which, you know what? I can get behind. I don’t care how the Martians got that big of an army, or how their population even go that big, I’d probably have to actually look into it. It’s cool, though, basically a big excuse to have big dumb ship battles and cool space-born warfare. The game is basically the pioneer of how modern COD feels, without the weird floatyness it gets later on. You have a good number of both conventional and Star Wars guns, with ballistic and energy being categories alongside stuff like plasma and whatever was going on with that giant laser gun. Shooting dudes feels nice to do, there’s a bunch of reactions to just hitting dudes wherever. My favorite thing to do is shoot a single bullet into an SDF marine’s helmet and just let the oxygen be violently vacuumed from his lungs. A good martian is a dead martian. But you know how COD plays, you’ve played a gajillion of these, lets talk about space combat. The game has zero-G combat like how it was introduced in Ghosts, whatever, sure, I can pull a dude’s helmet off and watch the guts in his body rupture in vacuum, sick, awesome. Lets talk about STAR FIGHTERS Infinite Warfare introduces Space Combat in the form of the Jackal, a star fighter that takes its design from modern US aircraft designs like the Raptor or Tomcat. This thing is the coolest ♥♥♥♥ ever. It has multiple hardpoints you can customize with a little bit of a selection, unlocking stuff to replace your 50mm and 30mm guns like laser guns or a slightly ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ 50mm that shoots faster. Its both a fighter and a Vtol, letting you dog fight, intercept, chase, and blow up enemy carriers and gunboats by swinging around them like a very angry wasp. The space combat IS the best part of Infinite Warfare, its fast and exciting and easy to control. The SDF Skelters, their own starfighters, aren’t bad crafts either and they blow up good, usually spiraling out in flames or blowing up on contact. You’re doing all of this while capital ships broadside one another and dozens of other crafts are mothballing around you. This is cool as hell. You guys hated this? Honestly, I feel like if the Jackal wasn’t in THIS game particular, people would remember it as one of the Starfighter greats. I’d buy a model of this thing. Its a fun game, I liked it a lot. I liked how Reyes had a bunch of gadgets to play with, I liked how boost jump and wall running was just something he had and not something you had to equip. Time to kill is super fast and the SDF are, generally, fun enemies to fight. Okay but I have to be fair. Yeah, the story is dumb. The SDF just kind of exists so the Retribution and the Tigris can fly around and do a faux BattleStar Galactica story. Earths entire fleet being over ONE city just so the Martians can blow most of them up is just an excuse so we can have this underdog story in the first place. I’m figuring they didn’t want every battle to be a big Battlefleet Gothic level event, so I’m willing to forgive it. Kit Harrington plays as Admiral Kotch, the main antagonist of the game. And he does a good job too, even if he does sound like he’s about to cry in every other scene. You good, Kit? You wanna talk about it? Also, there are about 4 main missions in the entire game. If you skip all the side content and don’t try to exterminate the SDF’s top brass, you’re looking at maybe 4-5 hours of game. Side content is split between boarding an enemy vessel and killing an important person, saving prisoners, or stealing something important. The other half are Jackal Assaults which is just more Jackal missions, which should be the whole game. If it wasn’t for the gunplay, I wouldn’t consider this a Call of Duty game. I can GET why people didn’t want to keep doing this after four science fiction CODs in a row. Ghost, Advanced warfare, BO3, and Infinite Warfare to top it off. This science fiction game about authoritarian Martians from various ethnic backgrounds with Imperial Ambitions probably rubbed the Ooo Rah going dark Tango-1-30 guys the wrong way. Not me though, Space ships kick ass. THIS ALL BEING SAID. This game is abandonware. There’s been this thing a good chunk of people have warned me about across practically ALL Call of Duty games past MW4 where hackers are rampant, I don’t know HOW rampant but its rampant enough that there’s footage of dude’s just kind of taking control of your computer, or crashing your game if you kill them, or kicking you from servers that they don’t own. Its a wild west ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ down there and It’s not worth dealing with. If you want to play this game, I think its on gamepass or do a bit of bucaneering, just don’t pay full price for this. You’re getting half a game and Activision has no interest in rescuing their titles. If I recall there used to be private dedicated servers that Activision shut down as well, so that’s not an option either. Either way, I really liked Infinite Warfare’s campaign. I finished liked the characters, I feel like Ethan is just a better Ghost stand in. And the Jackal combat almost carried the game for me entirely. I can’t even really give this a score other than “I liked it, it was fun”. Out of all the “”Classic”” COD games ranging from that inbetween period of Ghosts to MW2019, I’m probably going to say this is my favorite one. I feel like Call of Duty as a whole can do with a bit of Strangereal in it’s life. If you don’t know what that is that’s the world Ace Combat takes place in. They got close a few times, but never really just made up a bunch of countries and histories. I would take Blamerica going to war with Blargentina any day over Mercenary group fighting Special forces group. This all being said, I liked the SDF a lot more than I liked Pax Armata, so take that as you will. Also, someone please, PLEASE, I am begging you. The missions of Jackal combat and boarding action? Just make an entire game out of that, I don’t care who does it. Just let me do cool space stuff and fight in boarding actions and go to war against super space carriers in my cool-ass Space fighter. Add squad customization and stuff like that. Let me bash my toys together. The largest hamburger ever made was 2000 pounds. Dirk Aeternum
The multiplayer is ok, I only say this because I can't even play it with no one playing it, but the zombies are sooooooo good, genuinely I'd recommend to play this game though only if you like zombies a lot on call of duty games
打了很多遍,结局大量队友战死,很多人说很强行,但放在真实战场上也可以理解,随机掉枪对全收集太不友好了
Garbage hitboxes Zombies push you everywhere Online-only for zombies Pay-to-win even in zombies (Got the Sentinel variant and beat Meph first try for the first time) Aliens hit you from everywhere, especially the Rhinos/Mammoths Do not buy this garbage unless you're getting the whole game for $5
