Men of War: Assault Squad 2 — это игра, в которой ты лично заставляешь рядового Сыщенко ползти по грязи, чтобы забрать у трупа вражеского офицера последнюю противотанковую гранату и каску (привет FleZz) . За мои 100 часов в этой игре я пережил абсолютно всё: Проклинал физику за то, что случайный фугас аннигилировал мой элитный отряд (Сэйфскам изично 1000 и если надо 1001 сохраниться - загрузиться!) , который я снаряжал вручную 20 минут. Бегал с ремкомплектом под шквальным огнем, потому что «гусеница сбита, орудие повреждено», а «Тигр» сам себя не починит. Освоил «прямое управление» (Direct Control) на уровне бога и научился стрелять из пушки точнее, чем снайперы. Выбивать здесь достижения — это отдельный вид мазохизма. 372 ачивки позади, осталось совсем немного до идеальных 100%. Каждая миссия на «Герое» — это тонны сожженных нервных клеток, микроконтроль каждого куста и постоянный менеджмент патронов в инвентаре. Выводы об игре — абсолютный шедевр для тех, кто любит глубокие, хардкорные тактические симуляторы с честной физикой и вниманием к деталям. Живой мультиплеер, бесконечные моды в мастерской и тонны контента. 10 из 10 украденных немецких касок. Men of War: Assault Squad 2 is a game where you personally force Private Syschenko to crawl through the mud just to loot the last anti-tank grenade and a helmet off an enemy officer's corpse (shoutout to FleZz). Over my 100 hours in this game, I’ve experienced absolutely everything:Cursing the physics engine because a random HE shell annihilated my elite squad (Savescumming makes it easy — 1000 or even 1001 quicksaves and quickloads if needed!) that I spent 20 minutes manually equipping.Running around with a repair kit under heavy fire because "track destroyed, gun damaged," and that Tiger tank isn't going to fix itself.Mastering "Direct Control" like a god and learning to shoot tank cannons more accurately than snipers.Hunting achievements here is a whole different level of masochism. 372 achievements are done, just a little bit left until the perfect 100%. Every single mission on "Heroic" difficulty means tons of burned brain cells, micro-managing every single bush, and constant inventory ammo management. Conclusion:An absolute masterpiece for anyone who loves deep, hardcore tactical simulators with realistic physics and insane attention to detail. Active multiplayer, endless Workshop mods, and tons of content. 10 out of 10 stolen German helmets. Highly recommended!

The fact you can not play bots unless you pay for a DLC then on top of that you can only play bot in one game mode is ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ crazy and the devs should be ashemed. DO NOT BUY THIS GAME!

Tentative thumbs up, but know what you are getting into. This is a 10+ year old game on a 32 bit exe with the resource limits inherent to that meaning it can tend to crash if you do anything more than vanilla on standard settings. Play includes cover, unit facing, armor penetration, supply and inventory simulation, but little to no building. It has optional direct unit control, which can be amusing. There is a well established mod library, most of which have not moved on to successor games by the same devs. Skirmish AI requires purchasing one of the DLC. A large chunk of the maps in steam workshop are not compatible with skirmish and only work with a kind of sandbox mode in the map editor, but are not always clearly labeled for this. It can be a lot of fun when the mods work, but can also be a bit janky to get working.

小时候就在舅舅的电脑上玩了很久在我心中埋下了种子，长大了再玩还是觉得很有趣，哪怕他变得没那么主流，没那么优秀，画质也没那么好，也有《地狱之门》能代替他，但在我心里他还是那么优秀那么好玩，只可惜我早已经不是那个可以在电脑前无忧无虑玩上一天的小朋友了

I saw dozens of videos on Youtube by coincedence some star wars other 40K I thought the game looked amazing and I bought the game got the mods loaded in aaaaand... you can't play against bots without paying more money so yeah no I give the game a thumbs down honestly I played a little of the game and liked it a lot but paying for the game AND a DLC just to play against bots feels... disgusting and money grubby

Even though this is an old game, it still works. I have over 1,000 hours on it. I like the way you can adjust game speed (although it seems Skirmish mode you can't, at least for me).
