This is sooooo relaxing and scratches a certain itch for this type of game. You can't beat the price either. Surprisingly challenging in the best way.
Game is really great, starts off easy and then progressively gets harder to find the differences and the sheets. I am also a big fan of the layering were even the back layer can have something hidden
Got this on sale and thought it was a cute spot the difference game. It was exactly that however there was a story to the game that made it clearly much sadder than expected. Whilst at it's base is spotting the difference between images it's not a simple game. Sometimes the difference are very slight. Highly recommend you take breaks when you play this because staring at the pictures can be tiring to find the differences. Issues I had with the game sometimes a click didn't quite register. It's not major as there is not tracker or score related to clicks. Another issue is the hint button is in the middle at the bottom of the screen. You could accidentally hit that if you're trying to click on a difference you see. Just have to be careful around the button. There was one major bug where an optional extra was felt like it was bugged Chapter 2 level 4. I had to find a Youtube video to find it and then It was done by accident. I did enjoy finding the differences but, also the deeper puzzles related to the story within the journal pages you find. For those who enjoy decoding a foreign language this game is for you. Figuring out that puzzle was difficult and fun. It's worth playing if you enjoy puzzles and if you're still undecided definitely get it on sale.
It's a lovely, well-made re-iteration of the classic find-the-x-errors. A great twist is the movement parallax applied on several 2D layers, which provides a more spatial 3D feeling to the images, including increased difficulty as you sometimes can only spot objects from an angle. The bad thing: I can squint my eyes voluntarily to overlap the images. So I am sitting in front of the computer like this all the time (. ◑︿◐.) My eyes need a break ever 10 minutes.
There is a lot of pixel hunting in this game, with minute differences that you can only see if you've got the layers of the scene lined up correctly. Also the story is some kind of vague Wall-E rip-off messaging from what I can tell, but there's not really any incentive to decipher the bits of story you get that are hidden behind a cypher for some reason. This game is not enjoyable at all and way to try-hard.
Simply beautiful spot-the-difference game, with some intense but enigmatic lore going on. Well woth the price.
