Beautiful art style and subtle story and decently challenging hidden differences. Well worth going for all achievements!
so sad :´-(
Adorable levels to sort through and I am very excited to decode the journal :)
A lot of the plot for this game is imparted in French, and you cannot change that. The core gameplay, however, is spotting differences, which is all just visual, so you're good in any language. A lot of other reviewers complained that this game is too difficult - that some of the differences are hard to spot. I can kind of see what they mean, but you don't even need to find all the differences to progress to the next level - you only need to find absolutely everything if you want all the achievements. Which I did go for. It took a little while, but not that long. The game also has a hint system - as many as you like, on a timer, with no penalty. It shows a circle around the general sub-region where a random remaining difference is at - you still have to find the thing. I enjoyed it. But this is definitely a game where you won't have a good time if you don't like scanning two side-by-side versions of a cartoon image, looking for minor differences. Because this is a spot the difference game. Sorry if that sounds sarcastic. I'm just trying to explain why I recommend this game, and that is what I came up with.
Simply beautiful spot-the-difference game, with some intense but enigmatic lore going on. Well woth the price.
Got this on sale and thought it was a cute spot the difference game. It was exactly that however there was a story to the game that made it clearly much sadder than expected. Whilst at it's base is spotting the difference between images it's not a simple game. Sometimes the difference are very slight. Highly recommend you take breaks when you play this because staring at the pictures can be tiring to find the differences. Issues I had with the game sometimes a click didn't quite register. It's not major as there is not tracker or score related to clicks. Another issue is the hint button is in the middle at the bottom of the screen. You could accidentally hit that if you're trying to click on a difference you see. Just have to be careful around the button. There was one major bug where an optional extra was felt like it was bugged Chapter 2 level 4. I had to find a Youtube video to find it and then It was done by accident. I did enjoy finding the differences but, also the deeper puzzles related to the story within the journal pages you find. For those who enjoy decoding a foreign language this game is for you. Figuring out that puzzle was difficult and fun. It's worth playing if you enjoy puzzles and if you're still undecided definitely get it on sale.
A cute game of spot the difference with a mystery story line that absolutely ruined the ending of the game, making the time spent on it not worth it.
Perfect puzzler. Such a cute way to conceptualize and create a thematic stage for a spot the difference game. I love that you are always building towards a free hint and that the hints NEVER just give hou the answer. Just reducing the area where an answer 100% is, is such a brilliant way to help the player while not destroying their own agency.
