Everyone should be more kind to this game. The core is incredible, and really what people are mad about is balance in an early access game. I agree the devs are a bit too stuck up about balancing, and this version having less fun stuff to mess around with than the demo is crazy, but that will all be resolved eventually and by review bombing this unfinished version of the game because its unfinished you are really just saying you are mad that you are able to play it now instead of not until its actually done whenever that will be. I think the devs have proven themselves and that there isn't any risk this game is going to be a scam, so just be patient. What we have now is very impressive already and if you really are mad about the balance decisions spawn in a mongoose with a console command or something and see how fun it already is.
Game is cool but right now you should just play the demo and wait for the game to update. Devs kinda wet the bed on this one, actual release has less content than the demo. Nothing is more disappointing than excitedly getting into the game again after work and realizing that I have an additional 30 minutes of playtime before it's just, a wall, because that's all the content left. All the cool vehicles from the demo are just entirely missing? There's an entire merchant who sells you vehicle components and you can't make anything with them. It's truly the early access of all time.

Grossly underbaked. Basic ui is missing, bugs are constant and its just plain ugly. Might be worth it in 2-3 years when it leaves early access but right now, dont bother. Just replay the first one, its mint.
I'm probably not the best person to review this as I haven't played the first game Brigador. initially I was confused, frustrated but the more I played the more I started to learn and enjoy the game from going from throwing bricks and kicking hooligans in a underground sewer to obliterating NOPOL in one of their APCs and destroying buildings and painting the floor red, the combat once you get used to it feels good and satisfying alongside the music which is both good and matches the theme of the locale your in. Some issues I want to address most of it stemming from it being early access, firstly compared to the Demo that you can still get now, there isn't a massive jump in content apart from 4 story missions and a new garage and improvements to the UI and AI morale system which does work. Funnily enough Item Ui and Description have issues (I know I just said they have been improved so what's the issue?) lots of them are unfinished one minute I'm looking at a DROBAC (1911A1 pistol) with a scope the same size as the gun and reading the description of how its old-school and you could still cut of the sight and its still a good gun, next minute i pickup another gun and it has an gray MS paint logo with red writing of the weapon name and no description most will give a vague idea of how it handles ie. slow firing but high damage but that doesn't really tell me how powerful or useful its going to be on first glance. As someone who knows guns pretty well when I pickup a Rhino stopper (KS-23 special Carbine... yes I know its a shotgun) I know what it is and when and where to use and a good idea of just how powerful its going to be... its pretty good, then on the other end I pickup an unknown weapon that is hard to remember as all I got is the name and I'm left wondering if I should use it or not. One final issue I want to address is difficulty, I should mention that generally this is a guerrilla warfare type of game, your always alone and outnumbered and often outgunned this is fine I think its in a good spot and honestly I hope in the future they add an option to make it even harder, however what isn't fine is when the game fails to inform you of certain threats and thus your not prepared for it for example on one of the salvage missions if you stick around for too long an APC gets sent and if your not prepared you will get Sent to the pearly gates, on top of the fact that on majority of the missions your forced to complete the objective before you can leave, this can lead to frustrating scenarios where your guaranteed to fail and lose your loadout, this was especially true on one of the final missions currently where your introduced to a new faction that have immensely powerful gear, even when I thought I was prepared with an APC with rockets I got deleted instantly before I could even see what hit me, this led to a lot of trail and error as I try to figure out what I'm actually up against and what equipment I need to even kill it but eventually I won. Its obvious that there is no true late game as of yet as certain vehicles/tanks/mechs are not obtainable which makes me look forward to this games future, there's a lot of potential and seeing both the development of Brigador and Brigador killers and seeing how long it takes to develop these games but also seeing how well Brigador went in the end I have good faith that Brigador killers will resolve its issues and find itself in a good spot. If your reading this and thinking of getting this I reccomend trying the demo first and if you like it buy the game and support the devs even if there isn't a massive jump in content.
After playing and completing the campaign I can tell you with confidence that the people leaving negative reviews struggle with basic tasks like dressing themselves or using the toilet.
Very fun, but there are some extreme difficulty spikes that had me scratching my head. You definitely have to grind the scavenge zones for what you need. It needs a lot more content and some polish, but the bones are good.
Somehow the demo is better than the release. Can't really figure that out. Will try again in 6 months.
It's a mixed bag. They've clearly been working on the narrative, and I like how it's coming along, but I put almost as many hours into the free demo as I did into Brigador itself, and that demo is unfortunately better than this Early Access version, as it stands. The choice to put the player up against a fully loaded unit of spacers, while not allowing us to use the carmine or build the new mongoose model, just doesn't make any sense to me. The Carmine suit is on the cover of Pilgrims, it's standing behind the title of the game on this very page. It was in the free demo, but it's not in version I paid for. Explain that to me.
