Somehow even cooler than the first game. I am EAGER to see where this goes. Much to see already with a gameplay loop I find more compelling that its predecessor.
fix the damed gunplay. whoever had the great idea of making the guns less accurate then in the demo needs to be slaped every hour untill he fixes it. for ♥♥♥♥♥ sake, you had a slam dunk with that demo and now your going out if your way to repeat the first brigador? are your people masochistic, do you hate money? the hell is wrong with you?

>extremely linear >no sandbox >less content then in demo >grindfest >balance is awful you know, if the first game almost failed cause people mistook it for a twin stick shooter, now people got mislead into thinking they'll get a sandbox insurgent sim with brigador gameplay, not story-driven grindy unbalanced extraction shooter
I'm probably not the best person to review this as I haven't played the first game Brigador. initially I was confused, frustrated but the more I played the more I started to learn and enjoy the game from going from throwing bricks and kicking hooligans in a underground sewer to obliterating NOPOL in one of their APCs and destroying buildings and painting the floor red, the combat once you get used to it feels good and satisfying alongside the music which is both good and matches the theme of the locale your in. Some issues I want to address most of it stemming from it being early access, firstly compared to the Demo that you can still get now, there isn't a massive jump in content apart from 4 story missions and a new garage and improvements to the UI and AI morale system which does work. Funnily enough Item Ui and Description have issues (I know I just said they have been improved so what's the issue?) lots of them are unfinished one minute I'm looking at a DROBAC (1911A1 pistol) with a scope the same size as the gun and reading the description of how its old-school and you could still cut of the sight and its still a good gun, next minute i pickup another gun and it has an gray MS paint logo with red writing of the weapon name and no description most will give a vague idea of how it handles ie. slow firing but high damage but that doesn't really tell me how powerful or useful its going to be on first glance. As someone who knows guns pretty well when I pickup a Rhino stopper (KS-23 special Carbine... yes I know its a shotgun) I know what it is and when and where to use and a good idea of just how powerful its going to be... its pretty good, then on the other end I pickup an unknown weapon that is hard to remember as all I got is the name and I'm left wondering if I should use it or not. One final issue I want to address is difficulty, I should mention that generally this is a guerrilla warfare type of game, your always alone and outnumbered and often outgunned this is fine I think its in a good spot and honestly I hope in the future they add an option to make it even harder, however what isn't fine is when the game fails to inform you of certain threats and thus your not prepared for it for example on one of the salvage missions if you stick around for too long an APC gets sent and if your not prepared you will get Sent to the pearly gates, on top of the fact that on majority of the missions your forced to complete the objective before you can leave, this can lead to frustrating scenarios where your guaranteed to fail and lose your loadout, this was especially true on one of the final missions currently where your introduced to a new faction that have immensely powerful gear, even when I thought I was prepared with an APC with rockets I got deleted instantly before I could even see what hit me, this led to a lot of trail and error as I try to figure out what I'm actually up against and what equipment I need to even kill it but eventually I won. Its obvious that there is no true late game as of yet as certain vehicles/tanks/mechs are not obtainable which makes me look forward to this games future, there's a lot of potential and seeing both the development of Brigador and Brigador killers and seeing how long it takes to develop these games but also seeing how well Brigador went in the end I have good faith that Brigador killers will resolve its issues and find itself in a good spot. If your reading this and thinking of getting this I reccomend trying the demo first and if you like it buy the game and support the devs even if there isn't a massive jump in content.
Very fun, but there are some extreme difficulty spikes that had me scratching my head. You definitely have to grind the scavenge zones for what you need. It needs a lot more content and some polish, but the bones are good.
I need to be able to move while crouched and prone, I need to be able to see farther, I need a slot specific for gadgets with its own hotkey, I need a healing item slot with its own hotkey, I need the man to move more fluidly and interact with the world in more ways, I need cars to accelerate and stop more quickly and handle more like cars, I need this to be more fun. The music is top notch, the visuals are top notch, the vibes are off the charts, but it's just not fun to play at this point. As it stands this would be better as a proper storyline with linear progression through levels.
Another premium entry in the only good subgenre of extraction shooters: single player. Maybe wait for it to get a few more updates though. This one's the best one because it has Brigador's amazing worldbuilding and writing and soundtrack. It has unimaginable sauce that most videogames just cannot compete with, maybe just wait for it to have slightly more content. Give it a month or two.
Game is cool but right now you should just play the demo and wait for the game to update. Devs kinda wet the bed on this one, actual release has less content than the demo. Nothing is more disappointing than excitedly getting into the game again after work and realizing that I have an additional 30 minutes of playtime before it's just, a wall, because that's all the content left. All the cool vehicles from the demo are just entirely missing? There's an entire merchant who sells you vehicle components and you can't make anything with them. It's truly the early access of all time.

Honestly disappointed by how incomplete the game is for something with as much dev time as it had before hitting EA. If you're hitting placeholder art and incomplete item descriptions in the prologue maaaaaybe it could use some more time baking? I get that Early Access is just that, Early Access to an unfinished product, but that usually implies it being out of the Alpha stages. That being said! The game IS undeniably fun, once you learn to hit save before any risky missions and Alt+F4 if you die to avoid losing a mountain of resources to something you couldn't be expected to be prepared for. The game loads up quick enough for it to be a minimal delay to trying again with no loot lost. Not entirely sure why they bother with a lost gear penalty in the first place. Your vehicle just needing repair would be more than fine. While the tutorial does well to introduce the core mechanics, vital information is often missing or requires trial and error to discover. This vehicle has a mysterious slot when I open it's inventory? Let's try dragging a backpack in- Oh! That fits. So I get... 50 more space? Kinda bad for looting these item crates in the salvage maps, they can hold up to 100 worth so it's pretty inefficient to take that stuff with me- OH! You're telling me I can yoink these crates instead? Wish the game would've told me that! And there's larger crates too? Shame I can't see what the highest size is that I can fit. Just gotta slowly drive up to every one while under heavy fire and find out I guess? Oop, dead. Alt+F4, reload, and try again. Again, one would think this information is available in the item or vehicle descriptions, but they're all placeholders and give nothing. Right now, the game feels like it doesn't really know what it wants to be, but I sure hope it finds out soon and becomes a smoother play experience!
