I like where this game is going so far and I'm having fun, but it's in a rough shape. Enemies can see and shoot you farther than you can see them vertically on a standard 16:9 screen, even while aiming with a weapon. The UI is bad and doesn't say you can shift+click to move items instead of drag and dropping. The UI for traders is especially bad, I hope traders in general will receive an overhaul, including to their selection of items. With all that said, it's only the beginning of EA. Stellar Jockeys are going for much more gameplay depth and complexity with this project, yet I still have to encounter a single bug or crash which is a very good sign. They also went for a challenging experience right at EA launch, which is risky for them and may explain most of the negative reviews, but the challenge can be beaten which proves the devs playtest their game. So I'm pretty confident the game is only going to improve from here. I liked the first Brigador but it sorely lacked depth and customisation, and I'm very happy with the direction the devs chose with this one.

Honestly have been really looking forward to this game.. but what it has to offer at the minute is very shallow and barebones its very early access and a bit of a shame we couldn't have got more of a finished product. The game has something there but its a long wait. fully recommend waiting for a more complete game. bit of a disappointment atm.
Relax. It's early access and incomplete. The demo spoiled you with lots of cool things. Now you have story/level progression that limit access until you... progress. The missions don't go far enough YET to provide all of the vehicles and weapons in the demo. There is a lot of potential, but a lot of work is needed. Do not buy it if you expect a complete game. Tips: 1. You can repeat missions, so skip rock throwing and run to the gun crate, loot and run away, get a bunch of ammo before proceeding. 2. The "impossible" first boss is handled easily by the shotgun 3. The Vista mission is probably unbeatable currently with combat, sneak behind and set 6 Froggy IED behind him(unload from garbage truck), shoot with RPG.
If you were like me and were expecting Early Access to be more of what we got in the demo, I'd recommend holding off for now. They seem to be redoing the campaign and pace of progression, so some of the maps, and midgame and endgame stuff like mechs and tanks (along with the classic Brigador havoc you can wreak with them), are absent at the moment. Missing content aside, everything underlying it seems to be getting a significant amount of polish and improvement, while the devs are clearly communicative and responsive. Looking forward to seeing where it goes, but still gonna dip back into the demo to reunite with my beloved Fork now and again.
This game is unfinished (even for an Early Access title) and has less content than in the Demo.
Disgustingly repetitive extraction shooter ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ that doesn't have anything that made the first game a cult classic. Also some of the writing in the story missions seems very AI-generated. I'd say check it out in a few years, but given the direction it is going in, I don't have much hope. The soundtrack ♥♥♥♥♥ though. Absolute banger.
Incredible art and it plays smoothly. It is definitely underbaked but the framework is there. It just needs more content, some polishing, and QoL updates. Stick to the demo for now while it finishes baking. Some criticism is fair, but the some of backlash is uncalled for. The dev team has proven they can deliver a banger, so everyone needs to relax and give them time. It still deserves a thumbs-up in my opinion. I will check back in a few months after some updates.
I'm a bit biased, because I have been invested with the community for years, but Brigador Killers even in its current rough state is a tremendous joy to play, with how tactile the on-foot gunplay feels and how good to progress from literally throwing cinderblocks at people (as of this review you do get a sawn-off with some shells rather than actual nothing now though) to... well, that part is still work-in-progress. The foundations have been laid for something incredible here, but feel free to wait on BK for a little longer if you want more game. Personally, I can wait - it's been ten years, what's one more?
