Breathedge is an exhausting survival game that mistakes frustration for fun and immaturity for wit The Problems: - Weaponised Tedium: Your tools break instantly, and your oxygen bar is tiny. The gameplay is a repetitive cycle of backtracking and resource grinding that exists purely to waste your time. - Immature Humor: The writing is awful. It bombards you with a non-stop stream of stupid, inconsistent jokes, including lazy internet memes and cheap, uncomfortable sexualized or homophobic gags. - The Bait-and-Switch: Halfway through, the game completely abandons its open-world survival mechanics to become a dull, linear walking simulator. The developers try to use "satire" to excuse terrible game design, but breaking the fourth wall to admit a mechanic is annoying doesn't make it fun. Skip this and play Subnautica instead.

A good example of how this game functions is near the beginning of the the game where you have to find rubber. To get rubber you have to find scissors first which the game doesnt tell you. You then have to craft a brand new tool with the scissors which the game also doesnt tell you. With this new tool you then have to find these rubber panels on walls which you then have to cut off with the tool. All completely new mechanice which I didnt know existed. A taste of things to come. Not for me. I want a game where I do not have to google everyting.
Basically. Half of the game is in Russian for some reason or other. I am offended by Russian-anything, including this. I un-wishlisted Breathedge 2 and will remove this game from my library.
