Disclimer: DO NOT TRY THIS AT HOME THIS WAS AN ISOlatedD INSIDENT, THIS GAME IS Not SAFE FOR WORK. not gonna lie tho when you listen to a chicken squack and moan like that for 3 hours it really changes person. if you need me ill be in therapy.
this game has ruined my life
In even the short amount of time that I have grinded high scores for this game, I can tell you with confidence that it is worth the buy. It's a fun laugh for less than a candy bar.
It's like a train wreck, you want to look away but you cant and eventually you get Pavlov'd into hearing chickens moan. 10/10
10/10 really stimulates my dingle berries
You get to be the best ♥♥♥♥ in the world. 11/10

neat
BOK-BOK: A Chicken Dating Sim is a joke game that's been dumped on Steam as a cash grab. It's a very basic Unity 2D retro pixel match-3 game with a "chicken dating" sim theme (although the game is just a match-3 game with no other elements). The only notable part of the game is that the matching is done with the keyboard as you push and pull "eggs" along 2 axes. Choosing which axis to push eggs along allows you to shuffle the order and thus build the three matching pairs that makes this kind of thing so popular in web browsers and mobile app stores. A choice was made to use obsolete, decades old retro pixel "art" as a substitute for contemporary PC graphics. It's unclear if this is due to lack of budget or talent, regardless, the overall visual quality of the game is extremely low as a result. There's no options to change the resolution for the game or customise the graphics settings. There's no way for gamers to ensure this is running at the native resolution of their displays... there's no guarantee this game will look right on any PC as a result of this hamfisted design decision. There's no way for gamers to try improve the low quality graphics. The controls can't be customised, which will be an annoyance for many, but it can also render the game unplayable for differently-abled gamers. The game is free on Itch but the developers are trying to scam people into paying money for it on Steam. Apparently they think Steam gamers are second class citizens. This is an unacceptable insult. One final note: Because this is more of a "joke" game, intended to draw attention from controversy or in the hopes of going viral because it's "so bad it's good" (but it isn't good at all), there's nothing here to offer to serious gamers. As usual, with most awful/joke games, all the comedians come out of the woodwork. The vast majority of the reviews for this game are joke reviews, such as "this game cured my cancer, saved my marriage, changed my life" etc. Because most of the reviews are as insincere as the game itself is, the positive review score for this game should be disregarded.
