ninja frog
frog :)
Genuinely one of the most impressive and genre changing games I have ever played, to understand the psychology behind this game cannot be done with a shortcut. This game "Ninja Frog" truly defines what it is, "Ninja Frog" The idea itself is quite hilarious. How could a frog be a ninja? That's quite a hilarious idea, however like how Crash Bandicoot, crashed. This frog, ninja'd. Let's look at the amazing level design the game had, level 1 is the tutorial. Simplistic yet straight forward, a flag to the right of the screen flying in the wind with nothing else set in sight. It calls to the player like an uncompleted puzzle and you are the final piece needed to finish it, using highly sophisticated techniques it reaches into the player's brain and pulls their previous game knowledge to teach them that they must approach this flag and achieve victory. Level 28 posed quite a challenge, a box! Yet, what can we do with it? The only feasible idea is to interact with it and push the box.. yet when we do we realize that the box moves.. yet not in the way the player expects. This box, single handly becomes the antagonist, the player realizing they must restart knows now that they must change course. For my hint on this part of the game, I recommend jump moving into the box, combining these tactical mobility options will make the box perfectly fall in place and allow the player to continue. What an amazing game.

Didn't even realize that the achievements cannot be used in the profile showcase until I finished the game. The game itself is fun!
best game in the entire world
This game has the worst hitbox I have ever seen in a platformer, what a ♥♥♥♥ game actually.
This game is a perfect example of the idea that a small but good game is better than a big but mediocre game. Sure, there are only around 70 levels, but each one is polished and exciting. If you are the kind of person that prefers to explore mechanics (and have at least one friend), you will have just as much fun as I have had. There are very few multiplayer games that I am willing to play with random people and no friends, and this is one of them. There is also an impressive amount of variety in the gameplay, the different builds you can go for can feel like playing entirely different games at times. The game is hilarious and competitive at the same time, and it is certain to make you laugh. This is one of the best multiplayer games I have ever played, and for less that ten dollars it is an absolute steal. Some of the best presentation I've seen in a game. The way the islands get slowly covered in blood, the nervous faces of your commanders in the UI, the way the music changes with the enemies that are on screen, giving the stronger enemies a blood curdling aura, the endless onslaught of featureless warriors that will do anything they can to ruin you, all of that combined with the fog that is slowly chasing you off of the map creates a truly unique kind of oppressive atmosphere. The best part of the presentation is that it is there to support a well designed game, that rewards critical thinking and plays into that oppressiveness in ways that I should let you experience for yourself. There is so much depth to the strategy of the game just in the shape of the island itself. Some islands are like a puzzle that you can solve before you even land on them, while others you just have to choose the best group you think can take them on and improvise. Thats just a small sliver of the game's depth, but the thing is that the game does a good job of pacing, slowly increasing the complexity of the islands and the difficulty and variety of enemies that you have to face. I don't really know how to end a steam review but the game is good and you should play it.

Quick fun definitely worth the price. It's on sale so I'm gonna spread it to others.
