Nostalgic and challenging. This game is a spiritual successor of Castlevania. Produced by Koji Igarashi himself. My recommendation is to play this game if you are looking for an experience similar to a classic Castlevania gameplay. I don't think Konami can create a game quite like this anymore.

For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,400 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

A love-letter to Castlevania. Great leveldesign, characters are all unique and play differently from each other, the pixelart is gorgeous and the soundtrack is a banger. I just wish it was a bit longer, and had a higher difficulty, especially for the very simple bossfights.

Nota: 8/10
A fantastic love letter to classic 8-bit action games. The tight controls, excellent level design, and multiple playable characters keep every playthrough fresh. It perfectly captures the feel of old-school platformers while adding enough modern polish to make it enjoyable for both longtime fans and newcomers.
legal, ost boa
I personally think this is better than the 3D game for which they made the kickstarter. Hilarious how that works out.
What do you mean it's not Castlevania III?
The game is pretty good with simple mechanics. It's a bit tough but acceptable. The only issue is that the jumping feels a bit laggy. Overall, pretty good
