About
Blood Dungeon is a feverish bullet heaven platformer from the creators of Nidhogg.
Run, jump, and climb to avoid hordes of monsters. Duck and weave between enemies. Scramble up ladders, across grates, and over chains. Walls, ceilings, and even the watery depths are your domains to master.
The dungeons contain over 100 different enemies to kill. Bats. Centaurs. Exploding Eyeballs. Some fly through walls while others walk, stick, or bounce on them. Learn their movements, outsmart them, and harvest their blood.
Increase your blood level to upgrade your build, or find chests hidden throughout the arenas.
Circulate around the various drop sites to supplement your arsenal and master each arena.
Visit the Dogmancer to pay the bone toll and unlock permanent upgrades.
Unlock nine bunkmates, each with their own weapon of choice and movement perks. Spin climbable webs as Leggy, take flight with Bug, or speed through the Dungeons as only a Skinja can. Experiment with them all!
9 unlockable playable characters with different traits and weapons
6 unlockable unique survival arenas
Over 100 enemy types
Over 100 quests to complete

Reviews
I like Blood Dungeon. Has a fun core loop, animations are cute, and there's a pretty decently long tail for completionists. It's also not super easy every time, which is a credit in this survivorlike economy.
This game is awesome its rewarding but 2x as punishing if you're not paying attention run can be over in a flash. but on the rewarding side of things the game values playtime if you don't play the game or god forbid cheat you wont make it too far. And for $9.99 ($8.49) at the time of writing this you're getting way more than your moneys worth and the game just came out i have high hopes for this games future.

I was going to wait to completely finish this game before writing a review, but I just can't anymore. I love this game so much. You know the Vampire Survivors formula, but this is a balls-to-the-wall hectic, chaotic platformer. I have played so many Bullet Heaven games and it's crazy, but this one is truly something special. I have 32 hours in, and I am starting to grind the hardest of the hardest achievements (or 'quests' in this game) and I simply can't wait. The developer is super active on the discord as well, which is nice and pushes updates in, seemingly, real time. Buy this game if you want to play ANY bullet heaven or ANY precision (at times) platformer. God, I love this game.
Vampire Survivors if it was Nidhogg. If that sounds fun to you then you'll like this.
awesome game. its a survivorslike platformer. sound design is hilarious. Character design is hilarious. Only, very constructive criticism, i would give it can be difficult to differentiate between zombified enemies and hostile enemies.
Game needs to be balanced
amazing, jungle and idm inspired, music. i poured 6+ hours into the demo. its fun. pretty hard, even after unlocking a bunch of stuff.
Very fun little action roguelite. I appreciate the unique gameplay in a sea of games that just feel like carbon copies of others, especially in this genre. The controls stand out as being bizarre feeling yet also feeling good. Hard to explain without playing it. Being able to climb on ceilings and jump mid air after you have fallen just give you the extra control and maneuverability that you need. The hand drawn almost psychedelic Newgrounds/flash graphics are also very cool. I had to pick it up after playing the demo, so I'd recommend trying the demo if you're unsure.
I remember Randy Balma, Municipal Abortionist. I remember Flywrench. I remember You Found the Grappling Hook. When I see a new Messhof game, I buy it.
It is quite fun! I felt compelled to 100% it. Game gets way easier as unlocks occur. Some charms and spells are WAY too good, some are pathetic (looking at you, teleporter charm.) At no point did these minor issues curb my addiction. If you wish Vamp Surviors had platforming, this is an easy recommend. Needs more content, Messhof! <3
